Zander's pov.



As I walked into class I headed straight to the back with Victoria...naptime bitches. As I looked up from Victoria I saw a small black figure hunched over my desk. As I walked over to whomever it was I looked at Victoria pleading with my eyes for help on what to do. I gently tapped what I thought would be a shoulder and a blob of blonde hair pounced out from under the hood and he fell to the ground. I realized it was the small boy from earlier, as I looked into his eyes all I could see was fear and terror. As realization hit that he was terrified of me I slowly knelt down.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I didn't know who you were, I was just going to say you were in my seat, please don't cry awe you look like you're going to cry please don't." He slowly pulled out his phone and typed something in. I read slowly "No I'm sorry to freak out, But um where is the nurses office."

I told him one second and walked to the teacher.

"Can I show the new kid to the nurses office? He asked where and can I walk him there. He seems really scared...but he didn't really say it he typed and yeah. He just kinda pulled out his phone an-"

"Yes Alexander you can stop rambling and show him to the nurses office."

I turned and waved him over and headed out of the door. I looked down at the small sad boy. Wanting to learn more and more. Before I could realize it my wolf perked up and started smelling him, I started smelling him. The boy shoved me away awkwardly and it soon hit me, he was who I had mistaken for a girl. This small adorable boy, this scared, terrified BOY was my mate. I slowed my pace in shock as I continued to walk next to him, wondering if he was a wolf.

Raynes pov.

I walked awkwardly next to him, soon I realized he started to sniff me. "What the actual fuck?" I thought as I pushed him away. As we reached the nurses office I got my phone out and asked for my xanax as I typed my explanation she stopped me.

"I already know your situation honey. Your mom and me are close friends. In fact I'll be your neighbor when you two move onto pack land." She said softly then handing me a small cup with my pills in it.

As I looked up I saw the weird guy who sniffed me while walking here. As I caught myself staring he turned just in time to see me look away. He had been acting slightly different since I pushed him away.

"SO I see Zander has his eye on you. You'd be a lucky boy. He's convinced his mate is going to end up being female and is looking for a guy to take her place I guess. But don't get hurt by his foolishness mates can't stay away form each other. Some are so stubborn they will die trying though." She started her sentence off with a wink and slowly became\me sadder.

She soon dismissed me and Zander and I were off to class. As we got there the lunch bell rang. Noticing I had been in the nurses office staring around for almost four periods made me blush and feel guilty for making the alphas son skip class.

"Zander come on there's gravy for lunch, G-R-A-V-Y...GRAVY!! I want some come on." I heard the small girl with the snake shout out him. He jumped slightly when she shouted, seemingly breaking him out of a trance.

"Um please, come sit with us at lunch...it's just Victoria and I. The rest of the pack sits in tables surrounding us. I heard the nurse say that you are the pack doctors son...sorry I wasn't trying to be nosy...I just heard." He admitted sheepishly.

I hated human reaction but something was drawing me to him. I slowly and unsurely nodded my head to them signaling that I would go with them. I slowly walked behind them but noticed Zander slow down to walk closer to me. This was going to end up being a problem.

Zander pov.

As we entered the cafeteria Victoria ran for her gravy and I grabbed lunch for Rayne and me. As I turned towards our table I saw Adam the school asshole next to him. I could hear him talking shit to Rayne, which drove my wolf crazy. Rayne looked more and more scared as Adam got closer. Eventually he was right in Raynes face. I could see him physically shaking and I low growl ripped through my throat. I sprinted across the cafeteria right in time for him to lay a hand on my defenseless mate. I trampled him growling mine as I punched him repeatedly as I was pulled off of Adam by pack mates I saw him jog away leaving a blood trail. I grabbed Raynes and held him to me hiding his face in my chest as I saw the tears swell up in his eyes. I quietly whispered in his ear. "Just let me hold you, please jus let me hold you. I need to calm down please love?"

Raynes pov.

I stood staring at the whole ordeal in shock. I was terrified and in pain as the side of my face stung from being slapped. I heard Zander growling mine. I immediately knew what he meant, why he was so sketchy all day, why he is mauling this guy. I saw multiple guys who I'm guessing are from the pack pull Zander off of him. As the guy sprinted away I felt hands grab me and I was forced onto something hard yet warm and comfy. I felt sparks shoot through my body as I noticed Zander holding me.

"Just let me hold you, please just let me hold you. I need to calm down please love?" He said wearily as he shook while never loosening his grip once.

As he whispered in my ear quietly I began to sob. I thought I was through with all of this, with the drama of others, with others being close to me, with people needing me. I felt him gently pick me up and move with him. I said nothing and let him carry me. I felt myself being plopped into a car seat whimpering from the loss of his warmth. Before I knew what was going on as soon as he crawled into the driver's seat I was comfortably in his lap straddling him while cuddling into his chest. He jumped slightly from my sudden movement, as did I.

"Your wolf is in control for the first time." He chuckled as I blushed confusingly.

"But I don't turn sixteen for four more months." I typed slowly. Becoming more and more confused as we sat in the car.

"When you find your mate your wolfs comes out. Yours is more eager than anyone's...do you mind if I ask why you don't talk?" He asked sheepishly. This killed it all. I could physically feel my wolf receding into the crevices of my body. It felt creepy, I don't think I'm going to like this much. I slowly fumbled out of his lap onto the passenger seat, sinking into it and staring straight ahead.

"I'm so sorry I should have kept my mouth shut. For right now though we're going to see Where Adam ran off to. If he ran off to his uncle's pack to try and start a fight between packs you and your mother are moving sooner than you were told. YOU will be staying in the pack house. I won't have my mate in danger, your mother can have the spare room if she'd like..."

"I didn't even know we were moving, who says I'd live with you, AND WHO SAYS IN EVEN CLAIM YOU AS MINE" I typed quickly getting more and more pissed as this drive continued.



Okay i'll write the next chapter tomorrow or sunday. GUYS I JUST DIED MY HAIR PURPLE AND ASDFJKLGH I JIZZED IT'S SO PERFECT. AND I GET TO SEE MOTIONLESS IN WHITE LIVE FOR SOME FRIEND EP RELEASE IN A WEEK...IMMA CRY CUS CHRIS MOTIONLESS IS PERFECTION. Okay yeah that is all...um please feel free to put your opinion.
