I woke up feeling like bricks had hit me. I quickly jumped to my feet, my sense going overload before I noticed my surroundings. I looked up as I heard the bedroom door open, my wife cheerfully poked her head through the door.

"You know, it seems like Zander's coronation as a new alpha will come sooner than expected." As she spoke you could her how proud she was just by her tone.

"The only reason he took me was because of the rage from me insulting his mate." I grumbled as I popped my jaw into place. Carolyn flinched as she walked towards me. She sat in my lap as I sat at the desk in our room. "Rayne is a beautiful boy, you should be proud your son has such a wonderful mate." She slowly gained her voice. Hearing her talk with such feeling in her voice brought tears to my eyes. All I could hope for was that the depression didn't come back, that she kept the original joy in her voice. "He is a BOY Carolyn. I will not accept it, I want grandchildren." I raised my voice slightly becoming more and more aggravated as the topic raged on.

"You know, I spent a lot of time in the library the past few years. There are things you can do for male alphas to have an heir. You never know, maybe if Rayne would let Zander get close enough they could take that route. Katie is also our child. She can produce and heir." I flinched as she mentioned my little girl. My baby having a mate? Ha! Over my dead boy. "Katie is six, don't even mention boys."

"You know, one of the warriors has a little boy with his mate, they're both men. Katie's also taken to this little boy as well as he to her. Your little girl likes a boy and two men have a child. Things are changing, I love you, but you need to start accepting things." I glared into the distance as she mentioned Katie and a boy. My thought softened as I heard of pack mated having a child. I would remember to ask about that later.

"How do you know so much? You've been locked away all these years, what have you been doing?" I asked quite curiously at this point. "Sweetheart, I'm the eyes and ears of this pack. I will get this pack back to it's former glory if it's the last thing I do. You've been slacking, and no alpha can do his work without his luna. I'm here and I'm ready to help. On ONE condition only." She stated slyly. "And what would that be?" I asked suspiciously. "You perform Zanders coronation, marry Zander AND Rayne, and help condition the pack back to how we used to be.
