The Unseelie Court has taken over.
The Fey realms are now poisoned.
She watched in horror as the Unseelie Fey burned her home. Everything she knew and loved was lost. She lost her whole family, all except her daughter. Bright green hair and startling purple eyes looked out at her from in her arms. She pitied her own child and wondered what kind of life her daughter would have, growing up in a family that doesn't even know her true nature.
Her beautiful daughter, Silvana, would grow up as a changeling. Her fey features would be hidden by charms and spells, and would probably last until she realizes she will no longer age. Her human family would grow up and die without her, and she will be destined to a
life of running and loneliness.
This is what was in store for her daughter. Her daughter, who would one day realize the royal fey blood in her veins.
The blood of the lost princess of the defeated Seelie Court.
