"I'm actually glad you invited us over here," said Louise.
"Yeah we were beginning to feel like such loners, standing by a pillar no one talking to us!" Zoe finished.
"Haha, I'm glad you agreed! We were saying we felt like right gooseberry's!" Chuckled Marcus.
"And us! It feels like everyone knows each other and we don't know anyone!" Said Zoe.
"That's like exactly what me and Marcus were just saying. At least we're in the same boat."
"Yeah, feel a bit more at ease now!" Louise revealed.
"Alf," Marcus started as he looked at his phone, "Naomi is just asking if I can ring her so I'll do that and then shall I get us some more drinks?" He said to the group.
"Yeah fine" they all said.
"Alright then, excuse me" And Marcus squeezed out and headed for the exit. Louise pulled up her phone, and her screen lit up to a picture of her boyfriend, Matt and her baby daughter, Darcy.
"She's so cute." Zoe stated, looking at the picture over Louise's shoulder. "Heh, I know, do you mind if I just call Matt? I said I would and I don't want to leave it too late?"
Zoe sort of gave Louise a look which said 'you promised you wouldn't leave me' and Louise sent one back as if to say 'you'll be fine. Come with me if you have to'. But, despite their agreement Zoe replied with "That's fine, maybe you could help Marcus on the way back?"
"Alright, I won't be long chummy!"
"So Alfie, what's your channel all about?"
"You mean you've never watched any of my videos?!" Alfie said, pretending to be serious.
Zoe blushed, "uh, um"
"I'm joking haha. Pfff, anything and everything I suppose: Challenges, daily vlogs, tags, observations etcetera etcetera.."
"Nice!"
"Pointlessblog if you wanna check it out," Alfie said, flashing a cheesy smile.
"Hahaha!" Zoe laughed.
"So what about your channel, what do you do?"
"Mainly makeup, beauty and fash- hey you mean you've never watched my videos?" She winked.
"Hahaha, ohhhh busted. Bit different though, why would i type in like 'how to not get lipstick on my teeth'" he said in a mocking girly voice. "Or whatever"
"Hahaha, so not different!"
"So is!" He laughed giving her a little shove.
"So where do you live?"
"Brighton, me and Marcus both do! Met through youtube and didn't realise we lived like 5 minutes away from eachother"
"That's crazy."
"Yeah, turns out we used to do gymnastics together too! Don't remember one an other though!"
"No way!"
"Yeah haha. What about yourself, where do you live?"
"I live down in Bristol!"
"Oh aye yeah, with ye combine harvester?" Alfie said in his attempt of a Bristolian accent.
"Don't ever do that again!" Zoe cackled making Alfie laugh too.
"I thought that was a good attempt."
"What ever keeps ya smiling Alf."
Marcus then came waddling up balancing 4 drinks in his hands, "alright guys you just sit there and watch me struggle!"
The pair of them laughed. "We thought Louise would come and help you!" Zoe exclaimed.
"She was still on the phone, oh no here she comes now!" Marcus tutted.
The foursome gathered around again, and stayed chatting for the rest of the night talking about their lives.
At the end of the night, they all got a taxi back to the hotel they were all staying in and exchanged numbers before departing to their own rooms. "Yeah so we'll get in touch about doing some collaborations then?" Marcus said.
"Yeah for sure, it will be a laugh!" Replied Zoe enthusiastically.
"Alright then, well nice meeting ya and we'll see you soon!" Alfie said with a little wave.
"Bye"
"Nice meeting you"
"See you soon."
"Aw what lovely guys!" Louise said to Zoe as they trotted off down the hallway towards their room.
"I know, how genuine too! I'm glad we met them, good night in the end wasn't it!"
Louise agreed as she opened the hotel room to which they both flung themselves on to the double beds.
"I'm glad to be back though" said a relieved Louise.
"And me, I'm absolutely knackered." Zoe agreed, her eyes barely open.
"Nice girls weren't they?" Marcus stated.
"Yeah very nice.. Really down to earth aren't they." Alfie replied, sipping his mug of tea.
"Yeah, will be good to do some collabs with them soon."
"We'll have to make some plans then."
"Yeah.. Hey I saw you checking out Zoe when she came over anyway.. You little tiger!"
"Whaaat?! No I wasn't!" Alfie exclaimed.
"Oi, these things don't go unnoticed my little Alfred." Marcus said, followed with a wink.
"Oh my god, I so wasn't haha!" Alfie insisted, appearing a little embarrassed but with a huge grin on his face. Marcus just flashed him a face to say 'I know you're lying!'.
Alfie's POV:
Okay, I was so lying to Marcus. Zoe was undeniably hot. She had caught my eye initially as she walked through the double doors at the start of the night, and she caught it again when she came to join us and I got a better view. She was small and petite but the figure hugging outfit she wore accentuated all the right places. I can never normally define my 'type' but when she introduced herself I was like 'that's my type'. In addition to the flawless appearance, as for her personality, well first impressions were spot on. She was funny, she made good conversation, and she laughed at my jokes which is a bonus. I really enjoyed her company.
"But anyway Marcus, she's got a boyfriend."
"She has?"
"I think, she kept referring to a guy called Josh.. And she was texting someone a lot, I think I saw a Josh."
"Ooh! Still doesn't deny the fact you were checking her out!" Marcus joked running and jumping on to the bed.
"Shut up you! Lets get some sleep.. we need to be up for 9!"
