Chapter 17

Today was the day I go back to school. After missing about a week of school, I know I'm going to have to make up so much work.

"Let's go." Dad said, knocking on my door.

I finished doing my makeup, and opened the door to see him standing there.

"Everybody's going to swoon over 'Liam Payne' sitting in their classroom." I told him, and starting walking down the stairs with him behind me.

"They don't do that to Harry." He said, putting his shoes on.

"They're used to him being there." I told him.

"Well, they'll get used to it for a week." Dad said. I shrugged, and headed to the car with him.

When we got to the school, we went to my first class. Apparently all of my teachers already knew that Dad was going to sit with me.

All I'm really worried about, is Jack. He's probably worried about where I've been.

And it sucks that I can't text him and warn him about my Dad being in all of my classes.

When we got there, I walked in first, while Dad talked to Uncle Harry who just happened to be in the hallway.

I saw Jack with his head down on his desk. I walked over to him, and somehow gave him a hug.

He sat up, and looked at me. His eyes widened, and his mouth fell a little in shock

He jumped out of his seat, and gave me the biggest hug.

"Where have you been? I've been texting, and calling you!" He said, squeezing me tighter.

"I kinda ran away from home. But I'll tell you about that later. And my Dad took my phone for a month now." I told him.

"Well that sucks. At least you're here now." Jack said, letting me go.

"Yeah. The only bad part, is tha-"

"You must be Jack." Dad said, putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Mr.Payne. It's nice to meet you." Jack said, holding a hand out for Dad to shake.

"Yeah. You too." Dad said, shaking his hand.

"As I was saying, my Dad is staying in all classes with me for a week." I told Jack.

Jack nodded, and sat in his seat. I sat next to him, but Dad pulled me up.

"What?" I asked.

He pulled me up to the front of the room, and we sat in the two empty seats.

"You need to be sitting in the front of the room. Not by some boy." Dad said.

"Really? Is this how it's gonna be all day?" I asked him.

"Yup. Your teachers cleared two empty seats in the front for all of your classes." Dad said.

"Oh my gosh." I mumbled to myself.

This will be a hell of a week.

I raised my hand, and waited for the teacher to call on me.

"Eve?" She said.

"Can I go to the restroom?" I asked. I saw Dad staring me down from the corner of my eye.

"Yes." She said.

"Hurry up. If you're not back in five minutes, I'm coming to get you." Dad said. I shrugged him off, and left the room.

Before this period, since it's one of the periods I have without Jack, we said to meet each other 15 minutes into class.

So here I was. Walking to meet him.
