Liz and I may he working a case but there is one huge problem. Dave came into the bullpen with a look of concern. "Dragana, I need to speak to you in my office. Liz, you will need to hear it too."

Whatever this is, it's not good. Liz did not seem to know either what the problem could be. That is when all things went to hell. "Dragana, I received word that Ethan broke out of prison. I do not know if he thinks you are alive but I am pulling you off this case. The other agents that will be involved with this joint operation will be pulled off of theirs. Any active cases you have will be distributed to other agent."

"Dave, how long are we talking about before we leave for the next assignment?"

Dave sighed "72 hours, until then I would stay with Liz because if for one moment he thinks he did not complete the job he will come after you. You will be sent to DC."

Liz and I left his office. "Shit; Dragana, you need to crash at my place just to be safe. I know you moved but let's be safe. This assignment scares the crap out of me. This is your most recent to date with the danger level. You are practically going to be active duty again."

I know Liz is concerned. "Liz, why would I crash? I know the assignment is very dangerous but whatever shit Ethan has planned needs to stop. You know it. So many lives are at stake."

Liz has known me for a long time, knows that sometimes I make mistakes with my English. English is not my first language. I did not even know English before coming to this country. I mastered it pretty quick and when I was at the Air Force Academy,my professors were impressed with my English skills.

"Dragana, it means stay. Sometimes I think you have selective understanding syndrome. Although, when you mess up your English, you do it well."

Damn it, she knows me too well. I need to pack anyways because I have a feeling that I am going to be in the mid east which makes Texas look like the arctic. I have a game tonight anyways down in Sugarland. It's some team called the Puck Hogs."

I packed up quickly everything I needed. I would do a target run later for anything else. I grabbed all things perishable to bring to Liz's.

"Let's go".

Liz and I went to the Rainforest Cafe in the Galleria for some coconut shrimp. It's going to be a long time before I am going to be able to eat something good. I will be eating meals rejected by the enemy, that is my guess.

Back in her apartment, I grabbed my hockey bag and Liz came with me. "Those boys need to be taken care of. What was it last time, women should not be out on the ice but in the kitchen."

I knew exactly what she was talking about. "I believe his name is Luke. I will take care of him. I think some fishing will be in store tonight."

I may be the only woman on my team but I do change in a storage room. No way in hell do I want to be near my team's hockey bags. Take one step near them and you need to call hazmat.

Marc, the team captain and fellow FBI agent gave me an evil look. "Pejic, since I will be losing you for a while and the fact that you just got back from being injured by your ex and his whores, give the Puck Hogs hell. Especially pull your spin near the goalie. He is easily tripped up."

The boys from the other team seemed to be off their game. The best was when two of the defenseman from the other team plowed into each other.

It was a good game and a nail biter too. However, we; the ice dragons won. When I pulled my helmet off, Marc made his point to the other team.

"We have our own Dragon, meet Dragana."

I just waved at them and went to get changed and Liz and I left. What I did not know is Ethan was back in Houston checking out my former apartment. Tough luck Ethan, I have not lived there in over a month. I label Ethan as a terrorist now and him thinking I am dead will give me one upper hand in taking him down.

It is not about what he did to me. I refuse to play victim. I did not play victim when I lost everything to that damn war and I refuse to now. This is all about what he could do and what he could do to many lives and families.
