I am an object.
An item walking through time and space
interacting with other objects,
Some more human than I.
To many I am a
nameless, faceless idea
seen only for pleasure.
To others I am merely
the background.
I blend.
I am a nobody.
The only way to be noticed in this world
is to be awful or incredible.
I am neither.
I am seen by my breasts,
yeah, that genetic evolution,
I am seen because I smile.
But if they saw the pain behind the smile
Or the scars I have on every limb,
Would they beep their horns?
Would they wink at me?
Notice me.
See my achievements and struggles.
Support me.
Notice me for a person.
I am a person.
