Author's note:
Hey guys! So just to clarify some questions, there are in fact a lot that goes on in this book that isn't published.
For example, the car accident ordeal? It wasn't solved and no one knew who the driver was and what exactly happened that night.
Why?
Because the book would have then been stretched out and since this was done in a month, I had to skip a lot of scenes.
I am planning to add in all the important scenes if I ever decide to publish it. Even if I decide not to, I will put it up here as the longer and better version. Those who are interested in Sierra's life story will find this version a lot more satisfying.
Another development is the relationship between Sierra and David. I wasn't able to really put up a lot of scenes to where they started off as friends, so a lot of moments are missed. If you recall, you don't really learn anything about Sierra or David and for me, that is pretty sad. I love knowing little things about characters I read.
Sierra and her dad's relationship. That develops nicely given the right amount of time. But was not mentioned properly in the short version.
Sierra's relationship with Katrina and her crew. This is the one of the most important parts of the story because her character growth is prominent here. But no one knows it because they don't really see it. I never put a lot of moments where you see Sierra really growing.
That's all I can think about for now. Let me know about anything else that you're interested about in the book that wasn't explained properly.
I actually gave up on the book years ago, because it's done you know? But there was so many people who loved it that I decided to give it a re-read myself and can I just say, I actually kind of loved it? It could have been so much better tho.
Maybe I could publish it, what y'all think?
