Ms. Darbus entered her room, making a beeline for her desk. She looked at her messy desk that was littered with scripts and music sheets and took a seat. As she was fumbling through her drawers, she heard the door open.
"Darbus," a familiar voice grumbled, "Where's my team?"
Ms. Darbus turned around, facing the basketball coach, Jack Bolton. "You mean Chad and Troy? They're serving detention in my auditorium," she smirked.
"They're my best players! Practice is pointless without those two!" Jack fumed.
"So if practice is pointless, it won't matter if you don't show up," Ms. Darbus said, "And besides, you might as well channel your rage into something worth while." She sauntered over to Jack Bolton and bit her lip.
"Darbus," Jack grinned, "I could use a little distraction,".
"Then come closer," whispered Darbus.
Jack Bolton lunged at her and the two came together in a passionate embrace. Their lips met and they made their way to the desk. Jack extended his arm and pushed all the papers and books off the top of the desk.
"Get on," Jack said roughly.
"Oh Jack, you dog!" Ms. Darbus blushed.
"I'm not a dog. I'm a cat. A wildcat,".
"Show me how wild you can get, Jack,".
"That's coach Bolton to you, Darbus. And I'd say that you are violating the team dress code. No skirts allowed," he declared. Jack pulled off Darbus' skirt and threw it on the floor. "And I think you'll get a bit too hot wearing that cardigan,". He ripped off her cardigan, sending buttons flying at the empty desks.
"Doesn't all this exertion make you warm as well?" Darbus replied with a smile. Pretty soon Jack's clothes joined hers in a heap by the copies of Romeo and Juliet.
"Now time for a little team spirit!" Jack yelled thrusting quickly, "What team? What team Darbus?! I want to hear you say it!"
"W-Wildcats..." Darbus whispered. She let out a small moan.
With one final thrust, Jack let out a yell, "WITH ONE SECOND LEFT ON THE CLOCK BOLTON SCORES! WILDCATS WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!"
The sound of footsteps grew louder and louder. Ms. Darbus and Mr. Bolton quickly grabbed their clothes and got dressed. The doorknob rattled for a second and then the door flew open. Principal Matsui stood in the doorway. "What's with all this noise?" He demanded, "I've had several complaints from the faculty,"
"We were just arguing. She put my players in detention again. Sorry if we were too loud," Mr. Bolton reassured him. As he turned to leave, Jack winked at Darbus and softly closed the door.
