"Hey!" I screamed as the water splashed in my face. "Come on splash me back,"my little sister replied, running in the opposite direction. I wanted to splash her back, so bad, but she and I both knew I couldn't and probably never would, unless I wanted to die.

I had spent the last 10 years of my life in an Asylum, after we had crashed into a truck, while driving to Nana and Pa-Pa's house. Everyone else that had been in the car were fine and escaped the crash with a few scratches and bruises, but for me it had been a very different story. I had fractured my skull in three different spots, broke 5 of my ribs, dislocated my left knee, broke my right leg, and was on the verge of dying for three weeks. Luckily I had survived after having 16 major operations and 32 minor ones. I was told I would never be able to move anything from my neck down, but I had already proved that wrong and had managed to move one of my toes.

These days I have been fine, apart from the occasional fit every week, but my life will never go back to normal, and all my childhood dreams had been ruined and will never be achieved.

But it happened to be this day when my sister and I were playing by the lake that some thing very extraordinary happened.

I decided that I wanted to go for a little ride in my wheel chair down to the lake to have a look around it. But as I approached the lake a tree branch hit the wheel of my wheel chair and I was lunched forward into the lake. My head hit a rock, and as the world went black I thought my life was at its end.

2 days later my eyes flickered open and I found myself in a room, a tiny room, and I was on a bed about half the size of a regular bed. "Ah... You're finally awake," said a kind voice."I'm Luke, I found you in the forest a couple of days ago, you were very wet and cold and you looked like you needed a friend. So here I am," I wasn't sure what to say. He was the cutest guy I'd ever seen but he looked to me to be  the size of a dwarf, still I couldn't help but smile shyly.
"Hi... I'm um... Arakia. I'm not sure how I got here, the last thing I remember is falling into a lake by my house and hitting my head," I told him.
"Oh... Well I'm sorry to say, but you have arrived at a very bad time. I am the only good fairy you will ever meet, you can....
"Wait you're a fairy?" I yelled.
"Well yes, but I am the only one who you can trust ok? Every other fairy will try to either kill you or make you evil. The trees around here will eat you and the mountains will squash you, if you are not careful!"Replied Luke, with a cute smile.
