LOST IN A NEW WORLD

Chapter two

Over the next two weeks, Luke taught me how to live and survive in the new world. He showed me all the secret passages that went around under the forest."Wow!"I sighed, as we looked out on an amazing view from on top of the mountains. Luckily from up here the mountains couldn't squash me, so I was safe from everything.

"Arakia, I have been trying to ask you this for ages."He smiled in the cute way he always did."I really like you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. What do you say?"

I wanted to say yes and run into his little arms, but I knew I couldn't, I had to get back home, even though in this magical place I could walk and all my troubles from back home had disappeared, I missed my family."No, I'm sorry but I can't. I have to get home, but...."my words trailed off as I saw a tear drop from one of his crystal blue eyes.

"I'm sorry Luke...." I said sadly, and I walked back to the entrance to the secret tunnel. "You coming?" I smiled as he got up and walked over.
"I guess I'll live,"he said with a slight smile. And at that moment it was perfect as he leant over and gave me a little kiss on my cheek.

We walked down the tunnel and out back into his house. But all of sudden there was a huge bang."What was that?"I cried, a little frightened. But I soon realised I was talking to no one. The room was empty."Luke? Luke where are you?" As I stood there I finally made up my mind that he had betrayed me, he wanted me to die. He was just as bad as everyone else!

There was another huge bang as the door to the house crashed down and I heard someone come in, crashing into everything it its way. "Pssst, Arakia!" Came a quiet voice from somewhere bellow me."Down here."

"Is that you Luke!"

"Yes, you need to get down here now or else...." I never heard the rest of his words, as a pretty young fairy flew in.
"Hi, I'm Alice. I have been waiting for you. In fact everyone has, you are the key to our freedom." Said the young fairy.

"Um.. I'm Arakia. Why have you been waiting for me?" I said, edging for the door.

"Please don't be scared of me. I know you have met Luke. He is a bad influence to all of us, and is just trying to use you, so he cannot be killed, but if you come with me we can get rid of him forever and he will never annoy you again."She said with an evil smile.

"No! I will not let you near him. He is nice, caring and he says that you are all evil and will only use me to capture the world."

"No, no, no my dear, we would never dream of such thing, but beware if you choose to go against us, we will become your enemy."

"Well then that's it then. We will be enemies and I will get to stay with Luke." But as I moved back a little more I suddenly tripped and fell into a hole, which in fact was the hole that Luke was hiding in and was one of the secret entrances to our passages.
"Oh, and what do we have here,"said Alice with an even eviler smile."I now know how to get into your little tunnels Luke and I can capture you, and get rid of  you forever!"
