LOST IN A NEW WORLD

Chapter four

As Alice headed back inside, I stopped to think. "What if she was a bad fairy still? And was just using me to get out of the land. But I have to trust her. What choice do I have, it's her or death." In the end I decided to followed her down the passage.

"I'm sorry for killing Luke. I'm his sister, and I have been under the spell of the fairy queen since I was little. Luke escaped and the queen has been trying to get to him ever since. If she finds out he is dead she will be able to capture the world, which is kind of why I'm helping you. When you hit me with the clock and I started to bleed, it got rid of some of the magic holding me under the spell, so that's why I'm so different from when I walked in this morning." She told me. I felt sorry for her and was shocked that she was Luke's sister.
"Here would you like a hug," I asked leaning in to comfort her.
"Yes, that would be nice," she replied crying. For quite a while, I hugged her while she cried and cried and cried.

Finally she let go and we walked on until we the entrance to the library. We walked up into it. It was made of tree branches. And as I looked around I suddenly realised, we were in a tree!"Wow," I said as we walked around and looked at all the books. Eventually she found the book she was looking for and we settled down to read it.
"I can't help but feel like someone is watching us," Alice said after a while.

"Oh,"I said."Who would want to watch us?"

"Well,"she replied."If the fairy queen knows you're here she will send out guards and other fairies to watch each and everything you do."

"So what do we do?"

"We will just have to ignore them for as long as we can but just make sure she doesn't find out the ways to the secret passages."

"Ok, but won't the fairy queen be angry at you for betraying her, and becoming good?" I asked.

"Yes she will do anything she can to get the magic spell back into me to make me evil, but I will make sure that she doesn't."

Suddenly we heard a bang as the glass shattered in the room next to us. "Quick, we have to go!" Alice cried motioning for me to follow her. I did and we ran down the secret passage and back into Luke's house. "Oh no!" I cried, looking around in desperation."Where's Luke?"

"I'm not sure, wasn't he just over there," she replied pointing to the spot where there was a blood stained mark on the floor.

"Yes! Do you think the fairy queen found him?" I asked.

"Well if she did we are all doomed." She said with sorrow in her eyes.
