“Hannah…”
“What Luke? You can tell me anything even if we aren’t even that close.”
*Three girls come running up the stairs*
Carly: Hannah! Darling! Are you okay? What happened?
Amy: Omg! We should have walked with you when you went.
Luke: Haha, I thought you guys were good friends but you left her alone.
Stella: Saif, shut up. You’re a total stalker.
Luke: I saved her. Give me some credit.
Me: You guys! I’m fine. Can we go now?
Dylan: Luke…why did you just invite half of her friends over?
Carly: We’re here to take her, why else would we be here?
Me: Come on, lets go. Thanks Luke and tell Lily that’ll give her clothes back and thanks.
Luke: Sure, we’ll talk at school.
Me: Bye!
Dylan and Luke: Bye!
The whole day was weird and it started to get annoying. Every time he wanted to say something, something else interrupted him but I thought it was for a good reason. But my mind was still on the phone call, if people knew what I’ve done, what would they say?
Days past, but there was no anonymous call. It was just a threat, I guess. Today, Stella and I decided to go and do some shopping after school. She insisted that I needed to get my mind off things. I never got the time to speak to Luke but I’ve seen Dylan around and made some small talk. We decided to hit up the new outlet that just opened. We went straight afterschool, with Stella’s mom and she dropped us off.
“Hannah, what should we have for lunch? Do you think we should go with something light or we can go all crazy and order everything from everywhere? Gosh, I’m so hungry.”
“It doesn’t matter, I’m not that hungry.”
“Hannah, why are you acting so weird? You’re always hungry!”
“I don’t know, its just, I have a lot going on right now.”
“Well, you can tell me anything! OH MY GOD! HANNAH! LOOK WHO’S HERE”
She just couldn’t keep quiet. Stella’s crush was there; they had a short history that still went on till today. His name was Justin. He was generally a nice guy with hazel eyes and short black hair that he’d spike up. She never had the guts to talk to him and treated him like an all-time celebrity. Only once in her life she did talk to him and that was when we forced her to.
“STELLA! SHUT UP! EVERYONE IS LOOKING AT YOU.”
“Omg, Hannah. He’s with his friend! Please! Please! Lets go talk to them! Hannah, everyone knows you in school. Please just please.”
“Ok, sure, just for you but you have to talk to him, I’m not going to awkwardly stand by you.”
“Okay but don’t count on it.”
We were walking past them, when suddenly the face of his friend turned around. It was Dylan; he was staring at Stella and I, examining us from head to toe while we passed by them. As soon as I looked back, he called.
“Hannah! Hey!”
*Dylan’s POV*
I was at the new outlet near downtown hanging out with Justin; we decided to get some coffee after school. While walking through the outlet, I thought I noticed someone but I brushed it off not being so sure who she was. I asked Justin, who was she, she had a familiar look and he wasn’t sure of it either until she titled her head back, it was Hannah. Her dark brown hair threw back, glomming in the sunlight twirling around her shoulders. She was so perfect; I couldn’t help but to blurt out,
