Sammy's POV
I looked at Gabe, Josh, Izi, Lizzy, and Erik.
"This is what I 'forgot' " I said with air quotes around forgot.
"It's beautiful" Izi said.
"Yeah. It's not done yet" I sighed.
We were standing in the middle of a large garden that was decorated with white lights and different fixtures. There was a large white table in the middle with red and white roses in a vase.
"You were doing all this for us?" Gabe asked putting his arm around me.
"Yeah" I said.
He smiled and pulled me closer into his side.
I heard my phone buzz and I pulled it out. I pressed it to my ear.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hi Sweetie" My dads voice said.
"Hey dad" I said.
"So um. I have something to um tell you" He stuttered.
"Yeah what is it?" I asked.
"Um. Well. We're moving" He said.
"What?!?!" I said.
"No. Um. Well Dad. We can't" I said.
"We have to. Your mum got a job in well Ireland babe" He said.
"What. Dad my whole life's here" I said.
"Well your whole life's gonna be in Ireland now" He said.
"No I'm not going dad" I said walking back behind a tree to get a little privacy.
"You have to" He said "I'm sorry but this is an opportunity your mother can't pass up"
"Dad what am I supposed to say to my friends?" I said.
"Tell them we're moving. Tomorrow" He said.
"Tomorrow!?!?" I almost screamed.
"Your stuff is already packed and we'll see you at home in a few hours" He said and hung up.
So I'm moving. Tomorrow. Are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?! I can't move tomorrow.
I walked back over to my friends.
"What was that all about?" Gabe asked.
"Well um. I'm just gonna say it. I'm moving. To um Ireland. Tomorrow" I said.
"What!?" Isabelle said pulling me into a hug.
"Why are you leaving?" Josh asked.
"My mom got a job and she can't pass it up" I sighed.
"I'm gonna miss you so much" Lizzy said hugging me.
"Gabe?" I said waving a hand in his face.
"Your leaving me?" He said.
"What no... I have to move with my parents" I said.
"Well then I guess we're through right?" He said "I mean your moving to another country so we're never going to see each other"
"I didn't want to have to end us" I said the tears finally spilling out of my eyes.
"Well we have to so I guess I'll never see you again" He turned and walked away.
He left me. He literally left me. So I guess it was just a stupid Teenage Crush.
