This is absolutely amazing. I'm a little late on this because I have sorta forgotten about this account, heh. whoops. Anyways,
FINALLY OBAMA, FINALLYYYYY.
I CAN MARRY MY BESTFRIEND lol
jk jk
she doesn't see me that way.
As most of you know I am bisexual soooo yesh i can marry a girl.
But on June 26th, when I had asked my mother if she heard the news she told me no. When I told her you know what she said? "Oh, great."
WHAT.
THE.
FUCK.
My mother is a "Catholic" and i put that in quotes because she isn't really. She doesn't go to church every Sunday or Tuesday, we dont go to every church event, and blah blah. She doesn't own a bible nor does she have any lines memorized. then again she doesn't really remember anything.
And after she had said that i asked, "What do you mean, 'Oh, great'?"
she told me, "Er, well, Catholics aren't really ... okay with that kind of - well you know."
wAhT?
THIS IS AMAZING FINALLY LGBT ARE CONSIDERED HUMAN NOT A DISGRACE. TEENS CAN NOW GROW UP AND MARRY WHO EVER THEY WANT.
I really wanted to ask her,"If I were like them, would you be okay with it?" but i didnt because i know she would ask, "Why? Are you like them?"
I'm kinda horrible at lying sooo heh yea. But applaud to u Obama because I woke up that morning and went on my social media and I was stuck on there for 2 hours reading through everything - every tweet, hashtag, post, etc. for more info. I was like, "This isn't real, is it?" but nope it was 100% real. I have never been more happy and within those 2 hours already there were parties and millions of people around the world got married and attended parades and Pride and so many pictures were already on Google if you searched #LoveWins. I even made a poster to stick on my window to show my support. I was insaneee. And 2 days after i was at a party and chatting about it with my friends the ENTIRE time. Obama has #MadeHistory I was even looking through snapchat stories and so on it was wonderful. I wonder if Obama is going to do anything else before his term ends.... I wanna run for first woman president but i wasnt born in the US so I can't however my sister can. but i dont think she wants to do that.
Anyways, what did you do on 6/26? What were your thoughts on Obama's decision? Did you celebrate? If you live in Southern Cali, did you go to LA Pride? I wanted to be there but sadly no.
Ohh what did you think about the rainbow lights on the white house? I really liked it heh OOOHHH RAINBOWWWSSS XD XD
