Religious or Not, You're Still Beautiful

I am not religious. Occasionally, when I am really lost and don't know what to do, I ask God, as some of you believe, can help because he loves every one. The only time when being religious is not accepted, to me, is when you say, "God told me to be against same-sex marriage," or something similar. That is unacceptable. It makes no sense. God created everyone equal so meaning everyone is treated the same, no matter who they like or what they believe in, it doesn't matter. I don't know who told you God was against gays, when he himself created them. If he were truly against it, he wouldn't even bother creating them. Now, I'm not telling you to not be religious. It may sound that way but I'm not. I don't care what you believe. For example, I believe in the impossible. I believe in warlocks, shadowhunters, demons, goblins, vampires, werewolves, even if I know they are not real. But how would I know that, when I am just a simple mundane (human). I do not posses the Sight, so I cannot see them when they are Glamoured. Everybody believes in different things. I believe in science aside from the Shadow world. My mom and sisters are religious, but my dad, grandpa, and I are not. We love the works of science and how intricate it is. We like facts backed up with evidence not just, "Oh just because it's what I believe," but if you told me that I would either respond in 2 ways. 1: I'd say, "Ok, I see your logic," or 2: I would probably try to make sense out of it but when I can't I would tell you how it doesn't make any sense.

All I ask of you is, be yourself. Be who you want to be, not what anyone tells you to be. Remember, "You are not what the world says you are."

Don't forget: THIS WORLD RUNS ON BELIEF.
