"Piano lessons? Are you sure you won't avoid your classes? You've quit guitar, violin, and viola lessons!"

I tried not to roll my eyes at my fathers comment. Okay, he was right. I avoided my classes and my teachers would not appreciate that at all, so they didn't allow me to come back. I didn't do this on purpose, I just sorta get bored and I decide to stop going. They are not what I expect them to be.

I really wanted to play piano though.

"Alright, alright." I began, "I promise I won't quit this time. I'm looking forward to this, swear."

He let out a sigh as he took a seat on the leather couch.

"Very well. I'll get you private piano lessons."

"No, I mean, I want to see my friends!" I said. I thought he wasn't being serious, but his facial expressions said something else.

"I don't want you to have any distractions at all, That way you'll be focused." He said.

I let out a sigh and hesitantly nodded.

"Alright. When will my lessons begin?"

"I'll call an old friend of mine. I trust this man and he's a good piano player, and I hope you get along with him." He said, "He lives a couple blocks from here, I'll drive you there if you want me to. You'll start this Saturday."

It was Thursday.

"Alright, thank you." I said, giving a small smile and walking over to him to give him a hug.

"A man?" I thought, all my teachers had been old ladies. Well, maybe he's an old man.

I was upstairs in my room and I could hear my father talking to the man who'd soon be my piano teacher.

Only things I know from this man:
He can make my father laugh
His name is "Michael."

Michael? I don't think I know anyone with that name. Well, except from that show for kids. What was it called? Oh yeah, the Monkees. I think he's the guy with the green wool hat. Anyway, I can never know. Besides, the show ended about two years ago.

My thoughts were then interrupted by a knock on the door. I stood up and my father was standing there, "Alright, change of plans." He said, "You'll start Tomorrow."

"Alright." I said, giving a fake smile before he left.

Tomorrow? That means I'll have no time to hang out with my friends. Damn it.

I turned off my lamp and crawled into bed. I let out a sigh before slowly falling asleep.
