Michael rolled his eyes, "Is that a yes or a no?"

I rolled my eyes in return, "You're the most annoying man I have ever met in this world." I said before I walked to the other side of the car, "I'm not going to school today, Janis." I said before getting in the car.

"What do you mean you're not going to school?!" She asked worriedly, "You're gonna get in a lot of trouble."

"Oh well." I yelled out the window before leaning back on the seat, "Okay, where are we going?" I asked before crossing my legs.

"I don't know." He answered before I rose one of my brows.

"So you just sorta stalked me for awhile?"

"I wouldn't call it stalking if your father asked me to do it..." He answered.

My eyes widened for a moment, "He asked you to follow me?" I asked as he began to drive, "w-why?"

He shrugged as his eyes remained focused on the road, "I don't know. I think he's been noticing a few changes or something. I mean, he thinks you've got a boyfriend somewhere and you're hiding it."

I let out a soft laugh, "I haven't got a boyfriend and /you/ know that. Why didn't you tell him that I don't have a boyfriend?"

"Because...why would you trust me with this information instead of him? Don't you think it'd only make him think?"

"Well, I can tell him that you're a dear friend."

"Casual friends who casually fuck behind his back."

I widened my eyes once more before playfully punching his arm as he let out a laugh and wrapped his arm around my shoulders to kiss the top of my head.

"Why didn't you tell me before, you know, that you were married once?" I asked softly as I buried my feet in the sand, "I think that's cool, to be married."

He kept quiet for a moment, as though he was putting his sentences together in his mind and rereading them to make sure they made sense. "I don't know. I guess it really isn't a conversation starter. Hey, my wife divorced me for getting another chick pregnant. Doesn't sound right."

"And how many kids do you have now?" I asked, looking up at him before he took a seat next to me.

"Four."

"Four?"

"Mhm, Christian, Jonathan, Jason and Jessica."

I smiled, "Those names have some sort of ring to it when you say them all. I like it. Are you planning on ever getting married again?"

"I uh, I don't know. After one failed marriage, you kind of see things differently, I suppose. Things don't last."

"Of course they don't. We'd go insane if everything was forever."

"Yeah, maybe." He replied, giving a shrug.

"But...maybe you do find something that lasts. The Stars last, don't they? I mean, you don't see them for awhile, but then they return. They're always there, we just can't see them..."

My inner self chuckled a bit. We just can't see them. I wonder if he had caught my drift, my thought in disguise?

"We have things that'll last but we can't see them?" He asked, raising a brow a bit as he glanced over at me. I met those brown eyes once more, the ones that hid a story, a long story that waited to be read.

"Mhm." I nodded before I pretended to focus on the sunset, how the sun disappeared under a wave and how it had finished off its art of leaving by painting the sky with a dark pink and orange. A sudden urge to kiss the Adonis that was sitting right next to me began to take control over my mind and body.

How could I suppress these feelings? I'll never know.

I turned to look at him, and he was already looking at me. He turned away almost embarrassed, trying to play it out cool as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. I bit my lip to hid my smile and crawled onto his lap, setting my hands on his chest, my hands elevating slightly as he breathed. Right under my hand I could feel his heart beating, and I decided to pretend it was beating for me. Only me.

His gaze fell down onto my hands and then met my own eyes, there was nothing to be said. The breeze blew gently and he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear, I was melting beneath his touch and he knew that. I closed my eyes for a moment before opening them again, how was this moment real?

My hands cupped his face gently, my fingertips could feel those glorious, almost heavenly sideburns. I felt giddy inside, like a child getting a present on Christmas morning. I leaned in slowly and nuzzled my nose against his, an action that my mother used to do when I sensed her happiness, and right now I was happy. I saw him flutter close his eyes and pressed my lips against his own, letting my eyes flutter close as well as he responded to the kiss.

I felt his long arms wrap around my waist tightly, only making me feel utterly protected. Could he feel what I was feeling? Did he feel that electrifying sensation when our lips touched? Was it just a creation of my childish imagination? I stopped my thoughts and focused on the kiss, he had licked my bottom lip, asking to slip inside. Hesitating was the last thing I'd do for him. I opened my mouth gently and I went weak. I could feel his will to control, he was so the....leader.

I'm just a student, and he has turned into my teacher.

I made myself speechless. Woah.
Glad to be back.
