Animila's Pov

Three months since I gained the title protector. Since then I've been more friendly to people. I can talk to people. But only a few I let touch me.

Like Flora and Fauna. They love hugs. They'll hug everything. And I mean everything. Even rocks.  They've done it before.

Right now we are sitting inside since it's raining. Well to be honest only me and Blaze have a problem with water. Blaze is from a fire village. Fire and water don't mix. And me well cats hate water.

"So what do you guys wanna do? Since two of us here don't won't to go outside." Alric says.

"You know we've known each other for a while but we barely know anything about each other's past." Aqua says.

I guess that's true but I don't know if I'm ready to share my past.

"That's true. But I don't know." Flora says.

"Yeah me neither." Fauna says.

It seems like I'm not the only one who doesn't like their past.

"Oh come on guys we should get to know each other better." Aqua says.

"Fine I'm in." Alric says. I knew he would do it for her.

"Us too." The twins say.

"Count me in." Blaze says.

I really don't want to but I think I can trust them.

"Sure." I say.

"Who's first?" Alric asks.

"I'll go." Aqua says.

"Well I'm from a water village as you know. Down there it's customary for the child to leave after they turn 13. It's so the child can grow up to be more mature. When I left I left for good. I knew if I stayed I would be forced to marry one of those jerks down there." Aqua says.

"Oh are they that bad down there?" Flora asks.

"Yeah. They don't care really about you just how you look. My parents wanted me to marry someone down there but I said no. They really didn't like my answer. So I told my parents goodbye and came here. So who's next?" Aqua replies.

"We'll go." The twins say.

"We are from a forest village not too far from here. The people there were really nice." Flora says.

"But our parents weren't. They didn't really like us. Mainly me. I wasn't the perfect little girl they wanted." Fauna says.

"We did everything together so my parents didn't like me either. One day when we were 14 they kicked us out." Flora says.

"But not of our house. They kicked us out of the village. So we did what we could. We packed up and came here. Then we met Aqua at a stand and became friends." Fauna says.

"Oh my." Aqua says.

"Yeah but it's ok. We are better off without them anyway." The twins say.

I feel a bit of anger and jealousy. They had their parents till they were 14. They still do.

"I guess I'll go next." Blaze says.

"I am from a fire village. I have siblings but we don't get along. My parents didn't like my attitude towards things. My temper was never the best. I was always yelled at for things I didn't do. They loved my siblings way more than me. So I ran away at 16. I came here since I wasn't that far away. That's when I ran into three girls trying to rob me." Blaze says looking toward the three girls.
