Involuntary tears threatened my eyes when I realized that I was supposed to share my story with Drew. Everything was still recent, despite being here for a least a month, maybe even more. Days were hard to keep track of here. I first started my story when I was taken from my house by Jarred. Drew stared at me with wide eyes as I explained everything, including where I killed Jarred and then Kayden coming here. I talked about my torture and punishments Kayden gave me before Drew came.

"Being only sixteen years old, you'd think that all of this would drive me crazy, but all of this made me stronger. And this is making you stronger as well. Everything that happened to you is unfortunate, but we just have to keep fighting. That bastard doesn't get to win here. We need to stick together." He paused, "I've learned things about Kayden. He isn't that old, he's one of the youngest gang leaders around. Kayden is only twenty years old, which makes him easier to beat. He's got to have flaws in his plans to keep us here. There must be a way to escape."

"How on Earth would we escape? If you haven't noticed, Kayden is extremely smart especially for his age. He's thought of everything." I frowned.

"We can come up with something. Don't you want to get out of this Hellhole?" He asked.

I nodded my head, my brain racking for ideas, but nothing came up. We were in locked cells, so how were we supposed to get out? If we could find a way for both of us to get out of the basement, then we would have a better chance of escaping. I frowned, not sure how it was possible. I was about to speak when the basement door sounded.

"Look, let's just think of ideas and talk tomorrow about it. I have a feeling this isn't going to be fun." Drew whispered.

I nodded in response just as Kayden came down the stairs. I shrank back to the corner of my bed and stared in the direction of the stairs. An emotionless expression was on his face as he stared at the two of us. Without saying a word, he walked over to Drew's cell and unlocked it. This was one of the rare times that Kayden came down alone. If he did this more often then maybe Drew could knock him out and we could escape. Kayden always had the keys to the cell and a gun on him and that's all we needed.

"Let's go, we need to talk." Kayden snarled, grabbing Drew by the back of the neck, dragging his still beaten body up the stairs.

Kayden hadn't even bothered to say anything to me. His lack of acknowledgment concerned me. I watched as Drew stumbled up the stairs, curses escaping his mouth. Kayden grumbled and before they left I heard Kayden say, "You're going to tell me everything you know."

I wasn't sure what Kayden wanted to question Drew about. What Drew told me about his story, there wasn't much to say. Maybe there were more people after Kayden's money or the police got a lead that Drew was here. I had no idea, the possibilities were endless. Drew could have left parts out of the story, or maybe Kayden thought Drew knew something that he didn't really know.

I waited and waited for Kayden to bring Drew back. Escape routes were in my head, and I just needed to think of the right one. Most of my plans had flaws in them which I couldn't risk. If I was caught trying escape, Kayden would most likely kill me. As much as I hated being here, I didn't have a death wish.

Nearly hours later, the basement door finally opened. Kayden was the first person I saw. Behind one of his men were dragging Drew. Blood covered every inch of his body. I flinched at his state. There had to be something else to his story because why would Kayden nearly beat him to death of stolen money? I mean Drew didn't even get to steal it and if Kayden wanted him dead, he'd already be dead.

"When you decide to talk, you let me know. Until then, no food and these talks that we just had will be more frequent." Kayden snarled, turning and leaving the basement.
