I wasn't sure how long I was standing in the same stop, the hot sand burning my feet. Out of no where a pair of footsteps, causing me to jump. Were they back already? I whirled around, stunned by who was standing before me. I gasped, unable to believe that he was here. Those sparkling blue eyes were impossible to forget. Tears fell down my cheeks, unable to control my emotions.

"Amanda?" He asked, making my heart melt with joy just by hearing his voice.

"Hello, Kyle. I've missed you." I breathed, not being able to get rid of the smile on my face.

"What happened to you?" He asked, his eyes widened with shock.

"I can't explain now. Kayden's in the woods looking for Kelly. You have to go get the police or some help." I pleaded, know this could be my chance to be free.

"I can't get the police to help. It's just me. There isn't any help." He admitted.

There was no help coming. This battle wasn't over with yet. How could he come here alone? So many things could happen. What if Kyle died? All he had was a gun, which couldn't outnumber three of them. I wiped away the tears from my eyes, trying to figure out what could be done.

"Go inside and lock yourself in a room. I'll come for you after I've dealt with Kayden. If I don't come for you, then that means I'm dead." He spoke quickly, not making eye contact with me.

"There are two other guys out there with him. You can't beat them all." I said, knowing the odds weren't in his favor.

"Oh I know one of them who's with him. I'll deal with them, trust me." He said, turning to the woods, but I grabbed onto his arm tightly.

"I can't let you get yourself killed, Kyle. You don't know what has happened the last six years for me, but I haven't been through what I have just for you to die on me. I need to explain everything; I just can't do it now." I said stubbornly, still holding onto his arm.

"Amanda-" He was cut off when a scream echoed through the air.

Kyle whirled around as I stared behind him. Kayden was walking out of the woods with Kelly next to him, struggling. Russell was the one who I saw afterwards, not even noticing quick enough that Kayden's gun was placed against Kelly's head. Of course, I saw the monster that violated me every days for years and years. The man who haunted my dreams every night. The man who would ruin the rest of my life to come. Dole walked next to Russell, his head looking down at the ground.

Kelly wasn't even on my priority list of people to look at in the moments ahead. I was watching Kyle, who I feared for his life as Kayden got closer and closer. My eyes finally met Kelly's, who's eyes were filled with tears and fear. As selfish as it sounds, I didn't care what happened to her at this moment. All I kept thinking about was how she left me to be brutalized by Russell and how I would be shipped off back to home base with Russell where I'd live the rest of my life in a cold cell. My life was way worse than hers, yet I wasn't the one with a gun to my head.

"Glad you decided to join the party, Kyle." Kayden smirked.

"My pleasure, but I wished that I had the address sent to me." Kyle said, showing no emotion, causing Kayden to laugh.

"Well, you found it fine on your own." Kayden paused, "How about we all go inside and talk. There's a lot we should get caught up on."
