When you went home to visit your family at Christmas, i said to you, "you're my best friend." You replied the same.
When you went on your first date, I said to you, "you're my best friend." You replied the same.
When I left for home, I said to you, "you're my best friend." You replied the same.
When you came home crying and I agreed to go to the store to get you ice cream, I said to you, "You're my best friend." you replied the same.
When we went to sleep the next night, I said to you, "you're my best friend." You replied the same.
When you stopped eating, I told you, "you're my best friend." You quietly replied the same.
When you left the house one evening, I told you "you're my best friend." You hesitantly replied the same.
Now, here I stand, in front of your casket. I fixed you hair to the side because I know that you would have wanted to look on fleek anyways. "You're my best friend." I sobbed out. You never replied.
