Mitch and Scott were spending a regular afternoon in their shared apartment when suddenly, Scott got a call. It was Alex, he wanted Scott to come over. "Okay, I'll miss you." Mitch joked at him when he was told the news. "I can't go 30 seconds without you!" Scott told him, really meaning it. "Go to your boyfriend, see you in the morning." Mitch said, slightly sad. Scott was confused by the change of emotion, but quickly shook it off. "Okay, bye." He managed to say as he walked out the door, not watching the car coming down the street.

So now, here I stand before your casket. You left the house at 7:01 and was hit at 7:01. Just 30 seconds after you told me you would miss me. What I didn't realize was that I should have told you how much you mean to me, for 30 seconds after I would never have the chance again.
