The next day I woke up early and after getting ready I went down.

I saw all my brothers having breakfast and I shook my head at them.

Pigs!

I took my bag pack from the couch and was about to leave when Nick called out to me.

I turned and raised my eyebrow asking ' What?'

" Aren't you going with Ryan today? " he asked and I found myself growing irritated even hearing his name.

" Why? Can't I go by myself? " I snapped at him and instantly regretted when his eyes widened and he got that look which said he'll find out what I am hiding. So before he could open his stupid mouth, I all but ran out of the house.

I walked to my car and after dumping my bag pack in the passenger seat, I settled myself inside and began driving to the school.

As soon as I reached the school my cell phone rang and I knew it was Ryan since this is the time he comes to pick me up.

Well bad luck! He can bring his Amelia to school. I won't be needing anymore of his rides.

I stuffed my cell phone back in my pocket after checking that it was indeed Ryan who was constantly calling me, I made my way inside of the school after taking my bag pack from the passenger seat.

I took my books from my locker and saw that the hallway was almost empty and there were still fifteen minutes for the bell to go for the first lecture so I decided to go to the library.

I went to the library and searched for the novel I wanted to read from such a long time. After I got the novel, I grinned and went to the reception desk and signed it for taking home.

Taking the book I started making my way to my first class as only five minutes were left now for the first bell to go. After keeping the book in my locker I turned to go to my class when I saw Ryan coming from the other side with Amelia beside him. He was actually laughing and smiling while blushing once in a while.

I knew they both were together so why does it hurt when I actually see them together?

Ryan looked up and saw me and I saw his eyes widened at the sight of me and he started moving towards me with hope on his face. But before he could reach me I turned the other way and walked in my class.

" Ana " Ryan yelled most probably to stop me from going to my class but I didn't stop.

I quickly entered my class and I saw him doing the same but the exact moment teacher entered and he gave me a last look of desperation before the door was closed on his face.

I can't forgive him that easily. If he would have felt even a little bit bad he would have not been laughing or smiling with Amelia again today.

The Ryan I know would not just call me and wait another day to talk to me, he would directly come to my house and demand me to talk to him or else he won't leave.

The lecture ended and I got out of my class and hurriedly made my way to my next class so Ryan doesn't catch up with me. I really don't want to talk to him right now.

The lectures went on with me avoiding Ryan as much as possible and even going to the extent of hiding myself in guys washroom.

A guy saw me and his eyes widened and I glared at him, " What? Never seen a girl before? "

He instantly ran out of the washroom and I smirked. Seriously pathetic people!

After seeing that the coast was clear I walked out of the washroom when I heard a whistle coming from one of the stupid jocks who saw me coming out of the boys washroom.

Without even looking at him, I flipped him the bird making his friends laugh at him and causing my smirk to widen.

When lunch bell rang I was the first one to reach the cafeteria and after taking a slice of pizza, a burger, french fries, hot roll and a coke, oh yeah and an apple, I made my way out of the school and in the parking lot after paying for my meal.

Do not judge me for how much I eat! I am a young girl who does far more activities than a regular girl and I need energy for that.

I took my lunch tray and kept it on the hood of my car and even I settled myself comfortably on the hood of my car.

I can't eat inside because then Ryan would come and talk to me and I can't sit outside on the field because he'll even come there to check for me so I decided to come to the parking lot.

After I finished my lunch , I threw the tray in the nearby trash can and made my way inside the school.

Two more lectures to go and then I'll be back in my safe heaven- My Home!

But I don't know how longer I can ignore Ryan since I have the last lecture with him.

The bell for the last lecture went and I walked inside my class and sat down at the back of the class. Knowing Ryan, he would never come back to sit being a nerd he is so I thought I was safe.

But I was wrong when Ryan entered the class, his eyes were blazing and his hands were clenched in tight fists. He was angry! No doubt because of me escaping every time he sees me.

He saw me and began making his way to me and I looked here and there to avoid looking at him. He opened his mouth probably to shout or apologize but before he could do that, Professor Smith entered the class and everyone quieted down. Ryan sat beside me and my mouth parted sightly since he never sits at the back of the class.

" Why are you ignoring me Ana? " he hissed and my heart lightened at the nickname he had given me long ago.

I didn't reply and instead focused on what Professor Smith was teaching. I could sense he was growing more and more irritated by my lack of response.

When the bell rang indicating that the lecture was over I hurriedly stood up and shoved all my books in my bag pack and was about to leave when a strong hand gripped my wrist.

I looked back and saw that it was Ryan's hand on my wrist stopping me from leaving.

I tried to tug my hand out of his grip but his grip was surprisingly tight.

" You are not leaving the class before you tell me why are you avoiding me and why aren't you picking up my calls? " he asked angrily.

When I didn't say anything, he continued, " Ana I know what I did yesterday was wrong but I didn't know you'd be that mad at me. I am sorry Ana. I just thought if Amelia would sit beside me then I could know her better-"

I cut him off and said, " That's what the problem is, isn't it Ryan? It didn't even take a day to you to replace your best friend of years for a girl whom you met just yesterday. I know I am not the brightest crayon in the box but this time I am not wrong. See it from my point of view and you will understand or better yet think it other way around." Saying I walked out of the class but not before seeing Ryan flinch when I used his full name for the first time in my life.

I walked to my car and drove off to my house. I know I am being harsh to him but what can I do? He's my only friend and when even he'll replace me for some other girl I am bound to be hurt.

I sighed and thought I have to soon find out more about Amelia. If everything is fine about her then I'll leave them both alone but if I find something is wrong then only God can save her from me. Coz trust me, no one and I mean no one wants to get on my bad side.
