Best Friend Turned Boyfriend!

Spaced-out

    After leaving Amelia or should I say Christina's house I really didn't know what to do. I mean I knew there was something off about her and she's hiding something but it would be this was beyond my thinking. I couldn't believe that Justin would steep so low to get his revenge. I knew he would get back at me but him bringing Ryan into this who was completely innocent was low even for him. He knew that hurting Ryan would hurt me so he decided to take his revenge on me by using Ryan....He doesn't know who he's messing with.

          Hurting me was one thing but hurting Ryan is altogether a different page. He has just crossed the limit and he's going to get it back.

        Stomping I made my way back to my house. I was just about to enter my house when an all familiar car pulled up in the driveway.

        Ryan got out and was surprised to see me outside the house.

      " Ana what are you doing outside? You should rest. You shouldn't be out in the cold ." He frantically said and despite my earlier mood I chuckled.

       " What are you laughing at? This is a no time to joke around. You are not well. You should rest." He began pulling my arm towards the entrance of the house. So just to irritate him I held my ground refusing to move.

       He finally realized that I am not going to budge and sighed.

" What are you doing here anyway?" I asked him coz I really wasn't expecting him to come here.

" What do you mean what I am doing here? Of course I would be here. You weren't well yesterday and you weren't picking up my phone so I had to come see you. I was so worried about you." He said it in a rush so I barely managed to catch it.

When I realized what he said I was stumped. It felt like so many days after I saw the old Ry and an " oh " stumbled out of mouth.

       He must have realized what I was thinking and his expression immediately turned of one into concern, guilt and regret. He was about to open his mouth but I was too pre occupied so I cut him off saying ,
" I am fine now Ry. Feeling a lot better than yesterday. You didn't need to come here. I will be okay. I am just going to go in and rest now. You should go back too."

     Without letting him speak I turned my back to him and entered the house seeing him still standing there with a lost look on his face. I knew that I shouldn't be so harsh on him but I had just witnessed so many things today that my mind wasn't functioning properly. I still have to decide how will I break this news to Ry.

        Amelia was the first girl he ever liked and knowing that she was with him only for revenge he would be crushed. And even though I might be angry at him I would never want him to get hurt, never.

      So I quietly went to my room and thought about all the ways I could reveal the truth to Ry.

            " Ileana wake up. It's time for your school." My mom's loud voice followed by a banging on my door woke me up. I didn't know when I slept. I must have slept while thinking  about plans to tell Ry the truth.

          I immediately got up and after getting ready went down for breakfast. I still hadn't thought of any plan so was spaced out during the breakfast. I messaged Ry that I will be walking today so he doesn't need to come pick me up. I am sure his reply was one of protest but I didn't reply back and left the house. I needed time to think about what I am going to do.

         After fifteen minutes I reached the school and after taking books from my locker I turned preparing to go to my class when I saw her  walking towards me with an innocent but very fake smile on her face.

        Surprisingly she was alone this time. I was actually wondering why wasn't Ry with her when he's practically like a glue stuck to her.

       " Hey Ileana.. have you seen Ryan today? He isn't picking up my call and not even replying to my messages." She said innocently. She's a good actress definitely Oscar worthy.... I would give her that.

      I didn't realize I was that angry seeing her but I was and so I just couldn't keep my mouth shut and said, " Hi Amelia or should I say Hi Christina " smirking at the end.

       I watched as her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open clearly knowing that her act was over and I knew about everything. She struggled to get words out of her mouth knowing very well that whatever she would say would only worsen her situation so I made it easier for her saying , " You really thought that I was going to believe yours innocent and naive act. Of course not. I knew there was something off about you the moment I saw you but it wasn't till yesterday when I saw you with Justin that I actually realized who are you."

         She was gaping at me but then she finally seemed to straighten herself and a smirk slowly formed on her face.

" Why do you think Ry is going to believe you. You have no proof and he's smitten with me." She said smirking but her smirk dropped when she realized that my smirk is still intact on my face knowing fully well that I am up to something.

    I opened my mouth but was cut off when she said, " You like him don't you?"

            I didn't even realize that I had said yes until her smirk grew and the word left from my lips making me both astounded and stupefied.
