On the Outskirts of Kingdom of Lockwood

In the Early Evening

With the troops

Troops circled around the border. Lockwood's  soldiers were pretty low in number as compared to this collaboration of two kingdoms and the Capital, now known as the Golden Gallowglass. Naturally since Lockwood's troops had plenty of workload currently, most of them were posted near the Castle and a fraction was posted to keep order of the captured people of Galilee. And the remaining were posted inside the border. Those who came out of the border were slain and replaced with Golden Gallowglass soldiers quite seamlessly.

"Such a method of deployment of troops is pretty dumb", Katsumi spoke freely. "What I was saying is that why are they taking such risks? It doesn't seem practical to me at all! Are they so confident of their plans?", Katsumi inquired.

"Zen Shigaraki will not make such lax arrangements. It probably is King Kosuke's design but it still seems to be a bit unbelievable", Toshinori yagi criticized.

"In my opinion, it's best to believe Kosuke grew rather complacent over past few days. It's very hard to predict his thoughts and actions", Inko chimed in, speaking from her experience.

The others seemed to have agreed with the theory and moved onto other plans.

"What should be the best course of action?", The Sovereign asked as he looked around for volunteers. Duke Enji almost stepped forward before he was interrupted by the Sovereign.

"What do you young men...and ladies suggest?", He said as he looked at the youth and future leaders.

Toya looked away casually while Tenko itched his face trying to come up with something. Katsumi looked around to see the hopeless faces including that of Shoto who seemed to be lost in thought. Is he deep in thought or something? She thought.

The Sovereign then cleared his throat. "Princess Katsumi of Alora, do you have something good for us?", Yagi asked the most suitable candidate. A Princess with all the necessary requirements met to be the next ruler of her Kingdom.

Katsumi breathed in deeply as she stepped forward.

"The Kingdom of Lockwood is very depleted of it's resources especially the troops which are being replaced as we speak. But their technology is pretty good, probably the best in the whole Continent. So this battle would be more of strategy and less of brute force. Luckily our troops are well conditioned and can take up any task or formation. We clearly have an upper hand at this. The wedding's at night, 2 hours before midnight, as I have interrogated a few caught soldiers. We should wait till sundown and move quietly towards the castle. A part of our troops should protect the innocent Galilean civilians, and a fraction should take out the soldiers stationed at the border." Katsumi explained, somewhat confident of her plan.

"That much is indeed alright. We should also have a fraction of soldiers guarding the civilian area of Lockwood. They are innocent too. The majority of our troops will face the main troop of Lockwood outside the castle and the remaining shall accompany the leaders of this collaboration into the wedding." Toshinori added.

Katsumi looked around a little before her father nudged her to speak up.

"I have a request, Your Highness!", Katsumi spoke up firmly. Yagi nodded for her to proceed.
