Chapter nine: Innocence

Fear took over Rio's features for a minute before she closed her eyes and turned her head to allow full access to her neck for Laito. She was tired of struggling when she knew there's no way to get away.

"Take as much as you want and just leave me alone, please." She whispered tiredly before hearing a chuckle come from Laito.

"I want more than just your blood tonight, Rio-chan.." He sang and kissed her neck. Rio felt her cheeks burn as she tried to shove him off.

"Please don't! I-"

"Oh Rio-chan, do you know how hard it is to go a day without touching your beautiful body? This is going to be all the pleasure I've ever wanted to give you!" Laito sighed with a light blush.

Rio knew knew he wouldn't stop for her pleads so she went for the only option left.
"I-I'm not ready yet! I want you make l-love to me once I'm ready Laito-kun!" She spoke sternly with a smile trying her best to cover the fear and nervousness.

Laito stared at her for what seemed like forever before giving a toothy grin and reaviling his sharp fangs. "One week." He stated. Rio gave him a confused look before he opened his mouth again. "One week is all I'm giving you." He said again getting off of her and the bed and walking to the door. "After that, I'm taking your innocence away, I'm going to make love to you Rio-chan." He smiled brightly and left Rio with a dark cloud above her head filled with questions and fear.

One week! That's it! I only have one week before he takes me! I'm not ready for something like that..

Her eyes started to water but she quickly wiped them away. You can't show any signs of weakness Rio! She quickly got up and went downstairs, the thought of sleeping leaving her mind.

As she entered the billiard room her eyes landed on Ayato but he didn't seem to notice her and Rio certainly didn't want him to so she quickly turned around to leave but her foot got stuck to the table and she fell with a loud 'thud'.

Ayato was quick to react as he threw harsh glare at her. "What are you doing here?" He snapped while Rio recovered from the impact. "I'm sorry Ayato-kun I just wanted something to drink.." She whispered. Ayato looked at her for a bit before walking to her with a dark grin.

He grabbed her by the waist and thew her on the billiard table before climbing on top of her. "You naughty little girl, you want a little something from Yours truly huh?" He spoke while unbuttoning Rio's night gown.

Rio griped his hands and pushed him off using her legs. "Wh-what's wrong with you?!" She cried. "I thought we were friends! You told me you'd be my friend!" And with that she ran upstairs back into her room and slammed her door shut and cried herself to bed.
