Chapter fifteen: Swimming

The past few days have been hell for Rio. Hell! Ayato would always find opportunities to either hurt her feelings or herself. His bites had become much deeper and painful! To the point where Rio's screams and cries could be heard all over the mansion.

But the thing that bothered her most was how she was feeling about Laito. She wouldn't try to get away from him like she always would, she would let him feed her every meal and she would always find herself at his door. It's like she was obsessed with Laito Sakamaki.

Rio could remember his words about her getting addicted to him. His words can't be true..can they?
Pushing her thoughts away Rio decided to go to the pool tonight.

It's so beautiful at night, like its sparkling! Rio thought as she walked next to the pool. She was already wearing a skirt so she sat down and put her feet in the water. She would never go in the pool because as embarrassing as it sounds, she can't swim.

"Would you look at that? Cupcake wants to swim!" He turned to see Ayato staring at her with a devilish smirk. "Uh no I uh..I can't swim." Rio mumbled embarrassed. "Is that so?" Ayato said, now standing beside her.

He grabbed her by the neck lowered her head so that her hair was touching the water. Rio stared at the water with fearful eyes. "A-Ayato-kun please! I can't swim! I'll drown!" She screamed as she held into his arm for dear life. Ayato let out a maniac laugh. "You can't swim? Let's learn huh?" And with that he let go of her neck and watched as Rio fell into the water with wide eyes.

Rio was splashing everywhere trying to stay on the surface. Seconds later Ayato jumped in the water. While Rio was drowning herself he was swimming freely. "Ayato-kun please! Help me!" Rio screamed.

Ayato looked towards her and smirked. "Then tell Yours-truly he's the best and that you belong to him!" He replied while watching with amusement as Rio was almost about to drown.

Seeing there was no other way Rio did as she was told. "Yours-truly is the best and I belong to-I belong to him! I belong to yours-truly!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as she she sunk in the water.

This is it. I'm going to drown to my death. How amazing. Not to mention to vampire who's watching me die. Rio stopped moving as she grew tired. Suddenly a hand grasped her hers and she was once again pulled to the surface.

Rio panted heavily, trying to catch her breath. "Say it. Say it again or I'll let you drown for sure this time!" Ayato said in a possessive tone. "Ayato-kun please!" Rio cried as she grabbed his shirt.

"Say it!" He yelled in her face. "Yours-truly is the best and I belong to Yours-truly!" She muttered with blushed cheeks. "Say it louder!" Ayato was slowly letting go of her. "Yours-truly is the best and I belong to Yours-truly!" She yelled from fear and Ayato pulled her in his embrace as he swam to the edge of the pool.

Rio quickly started crawling away. Ayato pulled her by her hair making her stand up. "Soon enough you will belong to Yours-truly." He whispered before sinking his fangs in Rio's neck.
