chapter ten

Leah's P.O.V

"You nervous?" I asked Harry as he was getting his hair done by the stylist- Lou- who already knew about us. She was the first one we told when we got here, mostly so we didn't have to keep our mouths shut about it while she was doing his hair. 

"Very." Harry replied fiddling with the hem of his shirt. "It's just kinda nerve wrecking. I'm gonna be all alone in a room with a camera talking about my personal life.. I was actually hoping the management would do all of this for me. They could just write about it on Facebook like they do with everything else. That would've been a lot easier." 

"The fans want to hear it from you, Harry." I said. "Such a big thing like this should be coming from you, not a Facebook account." 

"Yes, you're right." He said and sighed. "Sometimes I miss being little and not having anything to worry about, just like Lux." He said and looked over at the one year old girl sleeping on the couch. "Soon I'm going to be a dad with a lot of responsibilities.. Plus, I'll be on tour and I won't see our baby as much. It's gonna be horrible being away from our baby. Hopefully it won't be too long between every break.." 

"Don't think like that, Harry. Even if you're gonna be away, this will still be your child. He or she is still here when you come home ready to play with it's daddy. Can't you just imagine how it will be like coming home from a long tour and seeing our little loved one again?" 

"That's probably gonna be one of the best feelings ever." He said smiling. 

"Two minutes, Harry." A producer told him as he opened the door to the dressing room. Harry gave the man a nod before he disappeared again. 

"Wish me luck?" Harry said standing up from his chair. 

"Good luck." I replied and kissed his cheek. "I love you." 

"I love you too, babe." 

Harry's P.O.V

Before heading out of the room I gave Leah a soft kiss. Words couldn't ever explain the feeling I got whenever we kissed. It was just amazing. 

After the kiss I headed into another room. It was a small room with plain black walls and a camera standing in front of a tiny chair. The only person except me in the room was a tall guy wearing all black. He motioned for me to sit down on a chair as he was fiddling with the camera. 

"The stream is starting in about thirty seconds now, so be ready." He said and left the room. 

I began counting to be sure when it started, and I got more and more nervous for every second. My heart was beating faster and faster and I swear the room was getting hotter. 

Eventually, I was done counting to thirty and a red light was turned on. I took a deep breath before beginning to speak. 

"Hi everyone, it's Harry here if you didn't already know." I said chuckling at my own awkwardness. "Anyways, some of you may be wondering why I'm doing this and I'll just put it like this; you're soon about to find out."

 I once again took a deep breath and continued the story. 

"So basically there's been a few rumors going around about me and a girl called Leah Adams. I just want to clear up that rumor and confirm that she's my girlfriend, and has been for two months now. I met her at a party the lads and I hosted about two and a half month ago and we immediately hit off. As soon as I saw her I felt my heart beating faster. She was absolutely gorgeous and I instantly knew she was the one for me. But anyways, the night we met was, well, a pretty crazy night. This is probably gonna be embarrassing for both me and Leah, but it's gonna come out no matter what so I'm just gonna say it- we hooked up. You may think it was supposed to be only a one time thing, but to me it was never supposed to be a one night stand. So I contacted her the day after and asked her out for dinner. We really got to know each other and it was just amazing knowing that she actually had an interest in me. We spent a lot of time together after that and I eventually asked her to be my girlfriend. I still remember the relief washing through my body when she said yes."

I had stop for a few seconds just to figure out where I was going with this. Finding the perfect way to reveal the news wasn't as easy as I had thought. 

"Um, let's just say that Leah hadn't been feeling well for a few days.. She was throwing up nearly everything she ate. So therefore I took her with me to the hospital. You can probably understand I was worried about her, especially since she barely had gotten anything to eat." I paused real quick again. "So we went to the hospital and got her checked.I was really scared the whole time that she was sick or something, but we got the good news that she was completely fine. We also got other good news, or more like great news. Since I really don't know how to put it, I'm just gonna say the same words I told my mum. Leah's pregnant, and I'm the baby's father. It should be born in May or June next year and I couldn't be more excited for it to come. I really hope all of you guys will accept our baby and respect Leah and I's choice in keeping the baby. I also want you guys to know that this is really one of the best things that's ever happened to me and yes I want to spend as much time with the baby as possible, but I am not quitting the band. My career will continue, but for the next tours our breaks may be extended. I just don't want to miss out on too much in my son or daughter's life. Hope you all understand this. Thank you."
