Leah's P.O.V

Two months have passed, and I'm still laying on my bed in the guest room at my dad's house waiting for Harry to call. I wanted us to be fine again, but after our fight I didn't want to be the one coming to him. It would just show him how weak I was, and I was afraid he would take advantage of it.

Plus, it's only one more month of my pregnancy and I'm worried that Harry and I won't make up before Darcy or Dylan is here. I didn't want our baby to be born without it's father being there ready to welcome him or her into the world.

"Leah, can I ask you something?" Wyatt asked walking into the guest room.

"Sure, what is it?" I asked him as he sat down next to me.

"You love Harry, right?" He asked.

"Of course I do." I answered. "Why are you asking?"

"Because if you love him, then why did you run away from him? I thought that people who love each other wanted to be with each other all the time. Because, I love you and I don't like it when you're not here." He said making my heart melt.

"Listen Wyatt, things are a little more complicated than you would understand." I told him. "I don't like being away from him, but we just needed some time apart. I told him that he could call me when he had made up his mind, but I haven't exactly heard from him since.."

"Did he hurt you?" He asked.

"What he did hurt me, Wyatt. He lied to me, so of course I get hurt by it." I replied. "But don't worry about it. He'll eventually come around and we'll make things right again. We love each other and we both want the best for our baby."

I gave him a smile, but that soon faded when I felt a pressure on my lower stomach. It was hurting like hell, and soon my pants and part of the bed was soaked.

"No, no, no!" I said panicking. "It's too early!"

"What's too early?" Wyatt asked clearly panicked himself.

"The baby's coming.." I said holding onto my stomach in pain. "Come on, we gotta find dad."

We headed downstairs to the living room where dad was sitting watching a football game.

"Daddy, come on!! Leah's having her baby!" Wyatt shouted shaking dad's shoulder.

"What?!" Dad exclaimed. "We need to go. Now."

All three of us ran out to the car and drove to the hospital. The pain was getting worse for every minute, and my back was absolutely killing me.

When we arrived at the hospital, my dad found a doctor that brought us to a room at the end of a hallway.

The doctor told me to lie down on the bed and I did as told. He gave me a few painkillers so the pain wouldn't get any worse until I was ready to give birth. I was told that labor could last up to several days, and I was praying that it wouldn't take too long. I really wanted this baby to come out of me.

"Leah, why isn't Harry here?" Wyatt asked me.

"Because he doesn't know I'm in labor." I said and winced in pain.

"Do you want me to call him, sweetheart?" My dad asked me and I nodded.

Even though I was still kind of mad at Harry, I needed him. He is the father of the baby, and I couldn't let him miss out on the birth.

I wanted this fight to be over, so getting to talk with him could make such a huge difference. I believe we were both just being stupid and didn't really think, and that's probably the reason why the fight got worse than I had thought.

Although I really wanted to know what him and Kylie were talking about, I had decided I was gonna let it go for the sake of our baby. I didn't want this silly fight to be the reason our baby would have to grow switching between living with it's father and mother.

"Is the baby here yet?" Wyatt asked resting his head on the edge of the hospital bed.

"No, not yet." I replied.

I moved around in the bed trying to find a comfortable position to lay in, but the baby made every single way to lay in uncomfortable.

The baby caused me back pains and a pain on my lower stomach, just like a pressure. The baby was ready to come out, but the doctors had informed me that I still needed to reach three more centimeters before the baby could squeeze through.

"I called Harry. He's on his way." Dad said as he walked back into the room. I gave him a nod and kept on trying to find a comfortable position to lay in.

Only ten minutes later, the door burst open and Harry ran inside, all out of breath.

"Is it here yet?" He asked sitting down in the chair next to the bed.

"I already asked her, but she said no." Wyatt sighed leaning back in his chair and Harry gave him a nod.

"I'm sorry I didn't make an attempt to contact you.." Harry said making sure us two were the only ones who heard. "I was just feeling guilty for lying to you and I just wanted to give you some time. Now I realize I should've just ran after you when you first left.. I'm really sorry."

"It's okay." I replied. "I should believe you when you tell me there's nothing between you and Kylie. I understand that you two are best friends, but it kind of bothered me when you lied to me. But, I decided to let it go."

"So, that means we're good?" He asked and I nodded smiling through the pain the baby was giving me. "Thank you for forgiving me, Leah." He said kissing my forehead. "Now all there's left to do is wait for the baby, I suppose."

After a while, I finally found a comfortable way to lay in without the baby hurting me and stayed like that for the rest of my labor.

Harry was holding my hand the whole time and even took a little nap in his chair, still not letting go. I think Wyatt found that funny considering he was practically laying on the floor laughing.

Eventually, I was ready to start pushing. I had already been in labor for six hours when the doctor came in and told me to start pushing.

Dad took Wyatt with him outside of the labor room where Harry had invited his mum and sister to wait too. It's amazing that his mum and sister drove all the way from Holmes Chapel to see the baby for the first time.

"Okay Ms. Adams, are you ready to start pushing?" The doctor asked and I gave him a quick nod. "Okay, start pushing when I count to three, okay? One, two, three."

I squeezed Harry's hand as I began pushing. The doctor kept telling me to push and it was hurting more and more the closer the baby got.

"Come on, babe, you can do this." Harry said kissing my hand palm. "Our baby will be here any minute. Just keep pushing."

I had to push a few more times until a loud cry was filling the room. The pain was suddenly gone and Harry's eyes teared up as he laid eyes on our little baby.

"It's a girl!"

.......

so, it was a girl aha!!
