Jasmine POV

I groaned as I heard chatter downstairs. Its probably seven o'clock in the morning. What are they doing? I had a headache.

"She's up." Paul voice came from besides me.

I turned around to face him. "Hi. What happened last night?" I frowned.

"You know what I think was missing from our marriage?"

"Tell me." I demanded.

"Our sex life. I mean Meadow Rain ruined it all for us." He smiled.

"We did not." I gasped.

"We did indeed. By far, the best. Don't worry your parents weren't here. They had went out for a stroll on the beach so it was the perfect time. No one heard."

"Paul?" I groaned.

"Talk to me."

"You're such a jerk." I laughed.

I showered and did my makeup. I waited for Paul to finish so we can go down together. I am pretty sure Daddy has Meadow Rain.

"Oh, Paul." Zayne moaned, mocking me.

I looked at Paul. "No one heard?"

"Your fault."

Zayne and my other two sisters cracked up. "We actually saw. Only a small peek."

Paul blushed. "Why am I not surprised?"

"Whats going on, family?" Daddy and Mommy said coming inside with Meadow Rain.

"Is that my baby?" I asked in my squishy voice.

"Da." Meadow Rain pointed to Paul.

He opened his arms and she immediately ran to him.

"Hey, sweetheart."

"Sweetheart? Never called me that."

"Yeah, right." Paul smiled. I took Meadow Rain from him and kissed her cheek.

"How is everyone?" Daddy asked.
"I'm amazing." Zayne said. "And hungover."

I feel like this time instead of me turning it up, Zayne is. I guess because I'm married and a mother, I lost my game.

I sulked for the rest of day. Even when we took a hike and took a few puffs from the bong. Paul came back in our room from putting Meadow Rain to sleep.

"Whats going on?" He closed the door.

"This is not how marriage life is supposed to be." I put my hands on my hips.

He looked appalled. "What?"

"You're keeping me from having a good time." I told him as I took off my earrings.

"Whoa. Am I telling you to stay in at night and turn down offers from your sister? No! So I am not keeping you from anything! That's your fault!" Paul yelled. "And from my understanding, just this morning, you were happy to be a mom. What's changed? Because someone else is the life of the party? It's not always gonna be about you. Sorry."

"Whatever. I don't need this from you. I am tired of being isolated."

"What the fuck?" Paul yelled. "Isolated? Again! That's your fault! I go out with Vin all the time and you don't complain. Take responsibility for your own actions!"

"I do." I crossed my arms.

"Look, we are not doing this here."

I held out my hand. "Can I have the keys?"

"Why?" He squinted.

"I'm taking a break."

"From what?"

"This argument."

"Fine. Here." He pressed the keys in my palm.

I threw them across the room and it hit a glass picture of a ocean.

"Are you crazy?"

"Fuck it. I'm walking it off." I stormed out the room and down the stairs.

"Jasmine?" Daddy looked at me.

"Don't. Everyone just leave me alone." I said quietly.

I probably walked for two hours because I sat down on a log, far away from the house. I can't believe Paul. The nerve of him.

Around three in the morning, I eventually went home.
