Michael POV

There was a intense knocking on my door and I got up from my seat on the couch to answer it.

"You know, I am so tired of this." Randy stormed in.

I closed the door and watched him kick off his shoes and plop down on the couch. Typical Randy.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Her name is Danny Strewn and she claims she is my daughter. What the hell?"

"Do you know who her mother is?" I went to sit by him.

"Yea. Abby Starlight. High school thing. It's been more than thirty years. Why wait all this time?"

"Remember when Joseph told us that if we went to war, always wear a helmet? Did you?"

"I don't know." Randy said.

"Well, go get a DNA test." I suggested.

"Tomorrow at twelve. But what if she is my daughter? I've miss out on her whole life."

I stayed quiet thinking of how I was in this position twenty years ago. I denied Brandon just to find out he was mine.

"Yeah." I said quietly.

Whitney came running in and switched on the TV.

"Jasmine Jackson is now a mother of two. Yesterday she was spotted coming from the orphanage with a little girl. Is Jasmine Jackson adopting?"

I cut off the TV.

"It's a shame that we have to find out these things from TV." Randy said.

"This is absurd." I blinked. Jasmine adopted?

"Did something happen to Meadow Rain?" I asked.

"I don't think so." Whitney shook her head and sat next to me.

"Wow." Randy said.

"So what's going on?" Nippy looked at Randy.

Randy filled her in, getting angrier and angrier by the second. This happens all the time. Someone claims they're a Jackson, it's proven they're not... It's really annoying but I've learned to deal with it.

"Just be nice to her and do the test and if she is your daughter, you got some making up to do. And if she isn't make sure the door doesn't hit her on the way out." Whitney smiled.

Randy laughed and asked me if I had coffee. I told him he knew where the kitchen was.

"You okay?" Whitney asked me.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I lied.

Whitney looked at me for a while and patted my knee. She knew I was lying. Probably just wanted to talk later.

"Love you." She muttered.

"Love you."

"I love both of you." Randy said.

"Oh God." I rolled my eyes.

"I'll share the love with someone that appreciates it." Randy sipped his coffee.

I got up, suddenly tired and told them I was gonna go nap.
