Jasmine POV
Paul ran a brush through his hair. Now that we were back home, he was back doing the movie and he just shortened his hair.
He gave me a nod before giving Meadow Rain a kiss on the cheek.
I grabbed his wrist before he could walk out."If this is another lecture about trusting me or something, save it." He said.
I have a small smile and kissed him. "Have a nice day."
He looked confused and left. Now only me and my baby girl. It's time I come to terms. Get with the program. Meadow Rain is a normal child. Simple.
My cell rang and I answered.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Jasmine, it's Justin."
"Hey Bitch. What's up?" I said.
"I just wanted to know if you want to go to lunch?"
"Sure. Where?"
"At Prosmo at twelve." Justin told me.
"Sure. See you then." I hung up.
I turned to Meadow Rain and kissed her cheek. "Looks like your gonna spend the day with Nanny."
- Two Hours Later -
"Oh my God Bitch!" Justin screamed when he saw me hop out my convertible. Paul got it for me a few months after our wedding.
I hugged him tightly. Justin is my gay best friend. He is a "photographer" and travels all over with his lucky camera to snap pictures. Recently he's been in London.
"How are you?" Justin asked as we sat down.
"Uhm, a lot is going on."
"Tell me what's going on." He sat back.
A waitress came and handed us a menu each. "I'm Jen. I'll be your and waitress today. What would you like to drink?"
"A spicy bloody Mary." I answered.
"Lime martini." Justin said. "Your hair color is good."
"Thanks." Jen smiled at went to get our drinks.
"So, uhm, Meadow Rain is deaf. And the funny part about was that Paul knew. And never told me."
Justin gasped. "What? Hold on. I'm so sorry. And do I need to pay Paul a visit?"
"Nah. He says he didn't wanna ruin a happy time for me and my family. But I still should've known. And we haven't been talking good, some you can say is my fault. But today I gave him a kiss to let him know, I miss him."
"So, you're ready to be on the same page as Paul."
"Basically, yeah." I shrugged and Jen brung our drinks.
"Ready to order?" She asked.
"Yes. I would like a salad with cucumbers but no olives and French dressing with a side of goat cheese balls."
"Just bring a platter of the goat cheese balls and I would like a nice chicken noodle soup."
"No problem." Jen said walking away.
"So, go have you been?" I asked Justin.
"I'm good. I found a lot of things in London. I met a boy but before we could bang, I had to leave."
I giggled. "Was he a Jawn?"
"Of course. Blue eyes and Brown hair."
"Damn. You know what's crazy, I never like blonde people before I met Paul. I thought they were all dumb."
"You are so racist." Justin laughed.
"How is that racist? I'd say more of a stereotype." I said.
"Girl, you lost all that baby weight. How did you do it?"
"Sex." I answered. "After I was healed up, any chance we got, we fucked."
"Wow. When was the last time?"
"About a few weeks ago."
"Did it change after marriage?"
"No. It got more aggressive if anything." I said.
Me and Justin had a good laugh and Jen came back with our food.
