Staring at the two tombstones where both your parents were buried is probably.......one of the most painful things a girl should could ever encounter. The fact that they are six feet under and not right here with me makes me feel like i'm suffocating.

The way the rain poured could be such a great analogy to what i was feeling inside. At this point, a few of my tears were already mixed in with the rain. It's like God just did not want me to visit my parents in peace after he had taken them away from me. I suddenly couldn't take it anymore...

I quietly sunk to the ground, staining my clothes with the mud and grass. I didn't care. Both my parents were dead. I ran my two hands in my hair and pushed my head to ground, internally screaming. Right then, however, came a new sound..

Thump. Thump. Thump.

I stopped sobbing and listened. It sounded like the person was running but that couldn't be. I was alone.......wasn't I? No one comes here at this time of night except for me.

Right?

I stifled a sob and lifted my head. I put my arms around my body suddenly realizing how cold i was in what looked like a storm. Finally, I looked up but all I could see was fog and sparks of light. Lightning?

Thump. Thump. Thump.

They were getting closer and louder.....

Thump. Thump. Thump.

At that moment I started to feel afraid and looking around frantically. What if I die here? In front of my parents? What if they don't get my body? What if I rot here and no one notices? What if-

My imagination immediately went on pause as a shadow figure stopped abruptly in front of me. The person's chest was beating up and down like he was panting. Or atIeast that's what it looks like seeing as the falling rain wasn't helping my vision right about now. I know it's rude to stare but I just sat there looking at a complete stranger, completely unaware of his intentions - good or bad.

I couldn't tell who the person was but I could clearly tell he was a male from his figure and choice of clothing. Before i could even ask about who he was, he spoke.

"Are you okay?" He asked sounding somewhat concerned and held out a hand to help me up.

It was then I really took in the situation I was in right now. In pouring rain I'm sat on the ground tear-stained before my parents only to be approached by someone unknown to me offering a hand to help me up. Looking at his hand I pondered if I should take it or not. Right then I just remembered he asked me a question.

I looked up at him and held out my hand right as he reached for mine to start helping me up. As he was pulling me up, a lightning strike took its target about 5 graves down making me jump immensely towards him making us falter a bit.

"Miss? Miss, what's wrong?" his voice sounded blurry now.

Blurry? Can a voice sound blurry?

All at once a wave hit me and the world started spinning. I lost my footing just as I felt myself sinking. what's going on? My vision started to darken and I couldn't get myself to speak. Something was holding me back. The last thing I saw before lapsing into complete and utter darkness were two very concerned eyes.

As my consciousness started coming back to me, I noticed the slight aroma of pancakes that was in the air. My eyes were still closed and I planned on leaving them that way because my head hurt like shit. I groaned and placed a hand on my head. The last thing i remember was being at the cemetery. Where am I?

I heard a deep low chuckle come from a small distance.

"Well hello to you too miss. And for the record we're at my house" a voice spoke.

Aw man I spoke my thoughts out loud again. I mentally groaned.

"Yes, yes you did" another round of chuckles were heard.

That's when I decided to open my eyes. They fluttered open. I came to see a cream coloured ceiling with two ceiling fans working. Hmm nice. I sat up carefully to try to figure out exactly where I was.

"Careful there miss. We don't want you to faint again now do we?" the voice remarked.

I looked around and saw that I was in a way expensive living room. There was a flat screen tv, a glass coffee table, a black leather couch which I was laid on and a golden chandelier in the middle of the room. It was like the highlight of this place. The walls were a bright orange that seems to liven up the place. I sat there admiring the room in all its glory not noticing the footsteps or the figure that was headed towards the back of the couch.

"Hello there."

"AHHHHH!" I squealed and fell on the floor. THUD! Oww that hurt! He scared me half to death.

"Aww shit!" he mumbled before making his way over to me. I got up with his help and dusted myself off.

"Thanks." I vaguely told him.

"You're welcome." If I told you I could practically hear the laughter in his voice you wouldn't believe me.

I finally looked up to my apparent "saviour" after all this time. I was met with those familiar eyes I saw in the cemetery. I actually just noticed they were blue.

I really hoped it wasn't my turn to speak because I'm pretty certain I wouldn't be able to form a coherent sentence. The person in front of me wasn't just a boy......he was a damn cute boy

But wait.....I know this person. Oh my god! I came to a sense of realization which i'm pretty sure anyone could see was plastered in my face. This is Adrian O'Conner.

Holy Guacamole!
