Sturdy enough to support you.
Built on a strong foundation
of trust.
Slowly wearing away
but still standing.

Love is a tree branch.
Bendable to a point.
Breakable with enough weight.
Sometimes flimsy
but other times strong and sturdy.
It may waver in the storms,
but it stays attached to the foundation.
But once it falls, it slowly
decomposes until there is nothing else.
