Chapter 2 pt 2

"Hey Sammy. Your parents want you back home. It's getting late and we still need to unpack the car." Sam could tell that Sidney was in a no nonsense kind of mood

"Okay. Good night, Lizzy." Sam hugged Liz once again and slid passed Sidney. "Night Aunt Sid."

Sidney watched the young girl make here way down the stairs before turning back to her daughter. To anyone else, it would look like Sidney was calm and happy. But Liz knew her looks well, and knew that Sidney had heard everything, and they would talk about it later.

"Come on, kid. Come help me get the rest of the stuff."

Liz nodded, and walked towards her. Once she was close enough, Sidney wrapped her in a tight hug. After a minute, they pulled away and Sidney draped her arm over Liz's shoulders ans they walked down the stairs to the car.

15 Minutes Later

After everything was unloaded, Sidney and Liz started organizing the living room.

"How much did hear, mom?"

"Enough to know that you don't want to live here."

Liz looked up from putting things on the coffee table, to look up at her mother, who was working on the book shelved.

"It's not like that mom, you know that." Sidney slipped a book into place, before turning around.

"i know sweety, I just hate to hear you got so much crap because of me. If i had know-"

"I didnt want you to know. you were still recovering and it would have only stressed you out more. i didnt want you to worry about me." Liz's voice lowerd and her eyes met the ground. Strong arms wrapped around her body

"im always going to worry about you. Youre my baby girl, lizzy." Liz wrapped her arms around her mother tightly. 

"i know. i lovw you mom" Sidney pulled away

"i love you too baby. now head up to bed. first day of school in the morning." 

Liz groaned as she headed for the stair "Ohh great."

Sidney shook head as she went back to orginizing
