Chapter 2

   Walking into the house, the two girls went straight upstairs to find Liz's room. The house already had the furniture and things in it, so all that had to be done was unload the car and unpack

   The girls quickly found the room, and sat on the bed in the middle of the room.

"It's so good to have you back here Liz. It's gonna be so much fun. Hey, what happened at your last school anyway?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Are you excited to be going to the same school? I am!"

Liz got up and started messing with things, putting them where she wanted them. Neither girl heard the front door open, and close. Or the footsteps of Sidney coming up the stairs

"I gess. I mean it's just another school. I'll probably end up sticking to myself again. But at least I have you here."

The two girls didn't notice Sidney standing agenst the wall, just outside the open door.

"Come on Lizzy. It's aunt Sidney's old high school."

"Yeah, that's one reason I'm not too excited to go tomarrow."

"Why?"

Sidney was interested in the answer as well

Liz turns towards Sam, leaning aginst a dresser.

"Come on Sammy, you know why. You must get it too. The looks, the whispers. Now I'm living in this town, and going to scool with people who either want tokill my mom, or theyre going to be killed for being in the same room as me. Every school i go to, as soon as they hear my name, it starts. And everytme something happends to my mom, im either too young, or in a fucking boarding school. But at least now im here to helpif something happends."

Liz took a deep breath. She relized thatt she was rambling, and that Sam was lookig at her weird. She looked down.

"Sorry."

 Just then, there was a knock on the door frame, and both girls turn to see Sidney leaned aginst it.

"Oh, hey auntie Sid."

"Hey Sammy. Your parents want you back home. It's getting late and we still need to unpack the car."
