Squirrelanoids Attack (TMNT fanfic)

Chapter 3

Sorry that I took so long to write! Any ways... On with the story!

Mikey's P.O.V.

As soon as I fell in the water with that squirrel, the others wrapped their tongue around me and I struggled to break free, but it was no use.

I was taken with them in the current. I was scared, and it was hard to hold my breath when they're yanking on my body.

It felt like we were in this drain forever; I was starting to see black dots again.

I can't breath.

It was too much, and my eyes were starting to close, until we stopped moving and we were just floating there. Then I was yanked ferociously, upward.

More black dots surrounded my vision. I wasn't exactly in my right mind when I accidentally opened my mouth to try and breath.

Water filled my lungs as I was gasping for air, but I was just swallowing water.

I was drowning.

The darkness was taking over, until I was yanked out of the water and thrown onto the floor.

I opened my eyes one last time to see the Squirrelanloids standing over me; they screeched and their jaws made their way toward me, but then, darkness.

No P.O.V.

Raph and Leo sat in silence as they waited for Donnie. They each sighed and looked at each other but then away.

Raph grunted and shot up from his seat. He marched straight towards the lab and barged in the door.

Leo rolled his eyes and followed Raph, slowly behind.

Raph stomped toward Donnie and lifted him from his seat. "What's taking so long Donnie?" He yelled as his eyes were turning white.

Donnie stared at him in shock, "I'm trying Raph! I really am! It's not easy finding something that was abandoned many years ago." He pleaded to his older brother.

"Well your not working fast enough, you're sitting here, taking your precious time to find a freaking map! Your the genius, it shouldn't take you that long." He yelled, eyes fully white.

"Raph let me be, it's not very easy. Besides, do you really think that yelling is going to help?" Donnie said, rolling his eyes.

"No," he said quietly, "I think hitting will!" He clenched his fist and was about to throw a punch until he was stopped.

"Calm down Raph! We all want Mikey back, but you're just going to make the situation worse if you hurt the only one who may find him." Leo said, holding onto his arm.

Raph grunted and flicked Leo's arm away from his. His eyes turned back to the green they all knew.

"Fine." He said bluntly.

Everyone was silent for a while until Raph shot his head up. "Does that drain even have an opening?"

Donnie and Leo looked up at him, "what do you mean?" Leo asked.

"The drain, an opening, for Mikey to swim through. If there's no opening then-" he stopped and turned away. "Mikey could drown."

Leo's and Donnie's eyes got wide and looked at each other.

Leo was about to say something until Donnie's computer starting beeping.

"Hey, I found the map!" Donnie said excitedly. "All I need to do is unlock, this, code." He said as he stuck his tongue out in full concentration.

Leo and Raph stared at each other and waited for a response.

Donnie looked up and smiled wider than before. "There is an opening, but its a little far. We might have to take the Shell Raiser."

Raph and Leo's faces have changed from a curious face to a confident one. "Let's get moving. Donnie lead the way, I'll inform Master Splinter." Leo said as he ran off to the dojo while his brothers ran to the Shell Razor.

"Sensei?" He whispered when he saw his master meditating. "Sensei," he opened his eyes. "Donnie found the map, we're on our way to find Mikey."

Splinter nodded and closed his eyes, "be careful and be sure to inform me on this situation. I will be here to try and find your brothers spirit."

Leo nodded and ran off to the vehicle.

"Alright guys, let's go." Leo said as he started the Shell Raiser. He hit the gas pedal, and they were off.

The Squirrelanoids surrounded Mikey's unconscious body. They circled him and screeched every few seconds.

One of them screeched and wrapped its long tongue around his leg. The others started to leave the pool with a few growls escaping their mouths.

The one squirrel started to follow the others and dragged Mikey with them, into an unknown part of the sewers.
