Haruhi's View
We all hung our heads low when our thoughts drifted over to Tomoyo and her obscure death. We weren't too sure ourselves how she died so we really couldn't give Dai any more information. It was sad that we, the Host Club, some of her most closest friends don't even know what happened. But all we do know is that we are the ones who drove her to madness, we're the ones who most likely made her want to die.
I shuddered and let a ragged breath skim past my lips as I opened my mouth to break the silence. "You're a Host now, aren't you?" I muttered out, resisting the great urge to clench my teeth.
Dai blinked in shock, coming back from his pool of thoughts. "Y-Yeah, I guess so." He replied.
Kaoru walked over to me and squeezed my shoulder tightly, his nails digging into my uniform. I glared at him from over my shoulder. "What?" I asked lowly.
"What are you thinking, Haruhi?" He hissed out, "You know all too well what he did to Naegi and...Tomoyo. W-We can't just let a criminal join the Host Club. Think about us, will you?" His words hit me like a speeding truck.
He's right. Shouldn't I have thought about the others opinion on this? I can't just say what I want and think they'll go along with me. They are not like that. But... I narrowed my eyes at Dai. He peered back at me with a stoic expression on his face. He didn't look like he gave a damn about my choice. Something was off. I sighed and shoved Kaoru off of my shoulder. Maybe I should just kick him out and say we don't allow convicts into the club, it sounds believable to me.
I scratched the back of my neck nervously do to what I was about to say to an ex-convict. "Look, Dai... This is a high up school and there are rules that state we can't allow someone to join a club if they were to have a criminal record. And that's just what you have." I explained simply and smoothly.
His infamous smirk made its way back to his lips, "That's the thing, Haruhi. I know that schools wouldn't allow someone like me to join their clubs, but if the clubs let me join them... Well that's a whole different thing." He started.
I furrowed my eyebrows together tightly, "What...what are you getting at?" I asked.
Kyoya suddenly stepped forward and glanced at me for a mere second before looking back at Dai with disgust. "If I remember this correctly, Haruhi. Both you and Renge seemed to agree on allowing this mysterious boy join, am I correct?" He asked Renge and me.
Renge and I nodded.
"Now correct me if I heard wrong, but he had some specific terms in order for him to come up here and give us his name." He said.
I nodded once more, "Yeah, what about that, Kyoya-senpai?" I went on.
"What were those terms of his again?" He asked, pushing up his glasses with his index finger.
I opened up my palm and brought my fist down softly, realization hitting me in the face. "Oh! I remember now, he told us, well Renge at least, that he was only going to come up here if we were to allow him to become a Host member. That was the deal in order to get him to come up and to get his name." I trailed on.
Dai's eye widened, as he seemed to take in what Kyoya and I were discussing. A gigantic smirk appeared on Dai's lips. He walked closer to us and bowed down, similar to what a butler would do to his master. I grimaced at this.
"It's a pleasure to be by your side, Haruhi... Kyoya-senpai." He stated in a very kind and polite voice.
I gasped and snapped my head over to Kyoya, "Senpai!" I exclaimed, wishing that whatever was going on was just a trick, but deep down I knew that I had made yet another mistake. A mistake that I could never take back...
"I'm sorry, Haruhi. But we cannot simply back down from our word, your word." He stated, emphasizing the fact that I helped start this.
I flinched back and bit my lip. There was nothing else I could say. Kyoya was right. I started this mess and now I have just made it worse, like I seem to be doing with everything. First, it was Tomoyo, and now it's Dai. What else am I going to screw up?
I gritted my teeth together and forced a smile on my face as I turned to Dai. He smiled back at me. However, you could both tell we didn't want to smile at one another.
"Welcome to the Host club, Dai Kimora!" I exclaimed cheerfully.
He grinned and nodded happily, "Great! So where do I start?" He asked.
Tamaki and Kyoya looked at one another, "Well first, we need to get you a school uniform." Tamaki said.
"Then, we need to give you a type..." Kyoya added.
Dai's smirk faltered ever so slightly, "A...type?" He asked in pure confusion.
Hikaru jumped in, "Yeah, a type, like Kaoru and I are considered 'The-Little-Devil' type." He said.
"The Cool type." Kyoya said, referring to himself.
"The Wild or Silent type, Mori." Kyoya mused, pointing at Mori.
Honey grinned brightly and waved at Dai almost forcefully, almost. "The Boy Lolita type."
"Then at last," Kyoya went on, gesturing his hand at me. "We have Haruhi, our Natural type."
Dai rose an eyebrow, "What about your so called King?" He retorted.
The twins glared at him, "He's the King. He doesn't need a type." They shot back.
Dai nodded with a smirk. "Alright then, I got it. No need to be rude, you ungrateful twins."
The twins shook in anger. Kyoya and I held them back from harming our newest addition to the Club. I had to admit that there was a part of me that thought this wouldn't be too bad, but from past experiences with Dai.... I knew right away that the next few days were going to be absolute hell.

All the Host Club members brushed past Dai and made their way out of the room, taking a leave for the day. They had enough drama for the day, maybe for the week. Having someone who was an ex-convict join the club they went to everyday wasn't something they liked. In fact, they hated the idea.
They wanted him gone.
However, that would be an impossible task to complete. Now that he is a Host, what could they do to kick him out of the club? Nothing. He had no record with the school. He was clear.
Still, would that stop Dai from doing what he usually did? No...in fact...it never would.
He was still Dai.
A convict and rapist...
