Kaoru's View
I searched everywhere for her. I asked some of the most well known detectives that my family knew about her, yet they all had the same answer as the other.
She's dead.
How...? How could they say she was dead without any proof! They didn't even have a body! If there was not one piece of evidence to prove to me that she was indeed dead, then...I wouldn't believe it. I will not believe any of them until I get what I need to believe. She can't be dead...she just can't be. Tomoyo isn't the type of girl to just die on someone.
I clicked my tongue as I bumped shoulders with someone.
"Watch where you're going." I hissed out.
"No thanks."
I rolled my eyes and glared hatefully at Dai, "Would you be a bit more respective? You are in a Club that we're running, plus this is a top notch school. It's not for some dead end guy like you." I sneered.
He chuckled. "Does it really look like I care? No. I'm only here because you guys agreed to let me join. It's your fault for trusting some complete stranger. This is partially your little friend Haruhi's fault, even you're to blame." He retorted.
I glared at him with all my might.
"Now suck it up and be a big kid for once, Kaoru." He snickered.
I clenched my fists together tightly, "No thanks. Unlike you I've grown up ages ago." I spat back and marched down the school halls.
"You can keep telling yourself that Kaoru. You know for a fact that without her you're nothing!" Dai shouted.
The sound of his laughter rang throughout the building.
I made my way through the bundle of students staring at me in confusion; worry. The girls who used to drool over me backed away and started to whisper to their friends, their eyes wide as they watched me brush past them.
"That's Kaoru...right?"
"I don't know! He's really changed..."
"Poor guy..."
"...He doesn't even get along with his own twin! Isn't that absurd?"
"The Host Club is crumbling down. I wonder if there will even be a Host Club by the end of this year."
They were absolutely right.
Everything was crumbling apart. Without our structure - Tomoyo - we would lead to the destruction of the Host Club.

I let out a sigh. No matter how hard I looked for her no one knew where she could be located. They all said the same thing-
"She's dead, sir."
Unlike them, I actually believed that she was out there somewhere. All she needed was someone to go and find her; someone to help her. I smiled at the thought. It sounded impossible, but from my past experiences...the impossible could be done. It just took some time.
"God dammit... If I keep stressing like this I'm definitely going to go gray-haired before Hikaru." I muttered out with a small scowl.
I crossed my arms and leaned back in my seat. My eyes gazed up at the beautifully painted ceiling. If I were Tomoyo, where would I go and hide out? I thought about it for a second when it hit me.
Lakeside.
The house Tomoyo ordered Wakame-san to take me to before she disappeared! There was a big possibility she could be hiding away there, but who knows. For all I know she could be dead. There's no need to be dreading on that fact, however. I'll check just to make sure we aren't overlooking anything.
I picked up my phone and dialed Wakame-san's number. The faint dialing sound went off and I waited patiently for him to pick up.
"Hello? This is Wakame."
I grinned. He picked up. Good.
"Wakame-san, it's me, Kaoru..." I replied.
"...Ah, Kaoru-sama. What is it that I can assist you with?" He asked me.
I smiled, "I wish to visit Lakeside."
"That old place, hm? May I ask what you're looking for over there? This has something to do with my old master, does it not?" He answered.
I chuckled softly, "Indeed it does. You're as observant as ever, Wakame-san. As for my intentions, let's just call it a peak of curiosity." I answered
"Understood, Kaoru-sama. I will head to you in due time."
"Thank you." I whispered softly.
"This is nothing to thank me for."
I sighed, "As you say..."
"Goodbye, Kaoru-sama."
"Goodbye, Wakame-san." I said, quickly hanging up on him.
I tossed my phone to the side and sprawled out against the couch I was resting on. Tomoyo, you really made my world a bit more interesting. Why can't you just come back and make it even better? You changed me.
Come back.

As Wakame-san made his way towards Kaoru's location with speed, he couldn't quite keep his mouth shut any longer. He knew things. Things that he shouldn't know. But as a loyal butler, Wakame-san was simply following his old master's orders.
'No matter what you do, no matter what you're told, no matter who it is asking about me, don't tell them anything. This is between us and us only. I'm trusting you with my life, Wakame. Don't make me regret choosing you.'
This was a secret meant to be kept locked up behind locked doors. For if it were to be released into the world, chaos would erupt...
Yet the desperate and meaningless search for his old master goes on.
"My, my... Look what we have done? We caused even more chaos than we intended, my mistress. You're death really has taken its toll against the ones you knew and loved." Wakame-san muttered.
What a desperate search this is.
