I woke up the next morning next to Joel. I laid there knowing how we had ended the night. I watched his chest rise and fall, the steady breathing of the man I loved. I smiled and got up ever so slightly to not wake him.
I emerged from the bathroom having showered and gotten dressed to find him sitting on my bed looking at me. "How can you be so continually beautiful?" He asked. "How did I ever find a guy as good as you?" I replied. He laughed slightly. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." He replied.
