Chapter 2

Mal pov

I was brushing my short purple hair in front of the bathroom mirror. When all of a sudden I started thinking about Carlos going on a date.

What if Carlos falls in love with her and they get married have kids-. I get snapped out of my thoughts.
By someone knocking on the door. I put down my brush and opened the door to see evie smiling really big.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I asked Kinda weirded out.

She came in the room and started squealing like a freak. "Evie I love you but why are you acting weird." I asked closing the door.

"Oh my gosh I have amazing news." She said bouncing on the bed.

"What, you got new fabric for designs." I said jokingly.

She rolled her eyes playfully at me. "No Carlos is going to out with Audrey tonight." She exclaimed.

My eyes winded and I nearly fell out of my chair I was sitting on. "WHAT"! I yelled.

Evie looked a little taken back by my Reaction. "Why do you care?" She asked curious.

"I-Don't." I stuttered sitting back down in my chair. She looked like she didn't believe but let it slide.

"So uh, Carlos is going on a date." I said plastering a fake smile on my face.

"Yeah isn't it great." She said happily.

"Yeah great." I said gritting my teeth and gripping my chair handle.

"Hey are you ok." Evie asked.

I let go of the chair handle and stopped gritting my teeth. "Yeah why?" I asked kinda confused.

"Because your eyes are turning green." She replied.

I gasped and ran to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and my eyes were glowing green. That only happens when I'm angry I thought. I came out of the bathroom, running my fingers though my hair.

"Maybe we should take you to the school nurse." Evie suggested.

"yeah sure, let's go." I said. I grabbed my jacket, evie grabbed her purse and we went out the door. We were walking towards the staircase, when I bumped into someone.

"Oh I'm sorry." I  apologized to whoever I bumped into. "That's ok Mal." I heard a voice say, but not just any voice, a voice I never wanted to hear again.

I looked up and saw Ben. I immediately ran away. I could hear him calling my name but I just ran to evie.

"There you are." She said once I got to her. "Where were you." She asked.

"I was running from Ben." I said breathing hard. "Uh, ok" she said, and we went to the nurse's office.

We went into the nurse's office. "Hi girls what can I do for you." The nurse said, also known as fairy godmother. Yeah she's the nurse now. I kinda have grown to like her a little.

"Well Mal's eyes started turning green when I was talking to her." Evie answered.

"Ok let's check you mal." We went more into the room and I jumped on the bed. After a few minutes she was done checking me.

"So what's wrong with her." Evie asked worriedly.

"there's nothing wrong with her." fairy godmother said and giggled. "She's just, in love."

I snapped my head to her and widened my eyes. "Whoa what." I said.

"Yeah I checked to see why you're eyes turned green and found out it was because you were jealous." She said and started smirking.

Evie started squealing, again. "Oh my gosh mal this is so excitedly who is the boy." She said playing with her fingers.

I groaned annoyed with evie and fairy godmother. "No one" I said and walked out of the room. Wow I'm, in love with Carlos. I thought. And smiled to myself. I just wish he knew that.

Carlos POV

so mal likes someone. Now I just have to find out who is it.
