Mal: shhh (she said putting a finger over evie's mouth)
Evie: I can't believe you like Carlos! It's great but I can't believe it. (Smiles)
Mal: (sighs) but I can't do anything about it.
Evie: (confused) why?
Mal: cause he's going on a date with Audrey (sad)
Evie: you don't know maybe it won't work out (weakly smiles)
Mal: N-no I want him it have a good time. (Thinking: even if it breaks my heart) (forces a smile)
Evie: if you say so.
Mal: can we just go to bed, I'm kinda tired.
Evie: sure (smiles) (gets on her bed, covers herself with the covers and turns off her bedside lamp) goodnight mal.
Mal: goodnight Evie (she turns to her side and quietly cries)
*The next morning*
Evie is sewing and mal is reading a love story about a girl that loves a boy but is afraid to tell him.
Evie: hey what are you reading? (Looks at her book while sitting next to her on her bed)
Mal: a love story
Evie: what's it about?
Mal: a girl that loves a boy, but Is afraid to tell him because he's her best friend and is going out with someone else.
Evie: oh well that sounds good (awakenedly says)
Just then jay and Carlos come through the door.
Evie: how'd the date go? (Thinking: please say it went terrible)
Carlos: IT WENT AMAZING. AUDREY IS THE MOST AMAZING GIRL EVER.
Mal runs out of the room crying.
Carlos: I got her
Evie: you sure that's a good idea
Carlos: of course it is she's my best friend (runs after mal)
He sees her in the living room area crying. (a/n: (not sure what the place Is with the staircase is called sorry) he sits next to her on the couch.
Carlos: hey what's wrong (concerned)
Mal: I-I'm F-fine Carlos just go (she says while crying)
Carlos: no you're not. Come on talk to me, I'm your best friend.
Mal: (looks deep into his eyes) that's just it
Carlos: (confused) what do you mean?
Mal: think about it Carlos (gets up off the couch and walks away)
Carlos: wait rebel (runs after her and grabs her by the arm)
Mal: what Carlos
Carlos: (softly pushes her hair back and kisses her)
Mal: (kisses back) (thinking: I have to stop this even if I don't want to) (lightly pushes him away)
They look at each other for a minute shocked at what just happened. Then mal runs to her dorm room crying.
