A/n: So schools started up and yes the reason I'm not updating yet is because of homework, homework and more stupid homework. But anyway I made this poem that is supposed to be my own from another poem called "Where I'm From".

I am from the first day of summer where the sun is blazing hot like a hot chili pepper,
I am from the war inside my head,
I am from a battle of freedom,
I am from a world filled with racism and religion,
I am from a multiracial nation,

Where I'm from the grass isn't always greener on the other side,
Where I'm from crime happens faster than the speed of light,
Faster than you can count to 60 secs in your head,
Where I'm from everyone always seems to be on cloud 9,
Where I'm from many parents dropped out of highschool and their children are following in there footsteps because of the lack of proper guiding,

Where I'm from lives are taking without consideration of there loved ones,
Where I'm from you wake up like it's a mission you have to survive everyday,
Where I'm from life is no joke,
It can be real frightening sometimes.
Where I'm from you have to stay strong,
Don't show your weakness,
failure is not an opinion, it's a choice. Where I'm from giving your all is how you will succeed,

I am from a place where you should never choose defeat,
I am from a place where our generation is the next big thing,
We are the future.
I am from a town where I call it home no matter how bad it may be,
I am from central, graduation class of 2018.
