"Look out the window!" Maya cried. Since the fire Maya's parents found jobs and a small house near their work. Since they knew a lot about horses, a stable had employed them as the stable managers of Thousand Acres stable. Maya's sister Kayla was on her phone as Maya watched all the horses in the pastures they passed. She matched all the horses by breed Apaloosas, Thoroughbreds, Paints, Friesians and Connemara Ponies. "Kids were here! Home sweet home." Layla, Maya's mother exclaimed. The house was.... pretty. It had peachy coloured bricks that had a bit of grey dust on them. There were a few patches of grass that were yellow but it was alright. Mom led them into the house as dad brought in the bags and bags and bags of stuff that the family packed. "Where's my bag dad!" Kayla asked. Kayla's the most organized girly-girl of all time. She chose her clothes for every day of the week on Sunday. She NEVER wears the same clothes 2 times in a row in the same week and most of all she isn't interested in HORSES!! Who isn't? Kayla frantically searched for her bags. "Relax. We're not in a rush." Maya said. Kayla sighed and then said "You'll never understand the importance of organization or fashion." Kayla finally found her bag. "Where's my room mom?" Kayla asked relieved to have found her bag. "Hold on hon, don't get carried away with organizing. We're all going to the new stable. Its called Thousand Acres Farm. Plus your the eldest so you're the last to know where your room is." Mom explained. Kayla looked at her feet. "Come on kids lets get you settled in." Dad said. "Yay!!" Lucas exclaimed happily. Dad led Lucas and Kayla to their rooms while mom led Maya to hers. "I thought you'd like this one. Its nice and airy, has a lot of room and it has a perfect window sill for reading with natural light. Its also the 3rd largest room in the house. Tomorrow we'll go get wallpaper and other things to fill it with." Mom finally finished. "Kay thanks mom." Maya replied tardily. She was thinking about her old horse, Rose. Rose was a Arabian horse. Since the fire Maya vowed never again to fall in love with another horse.
