"Well if you don't take her we have to put her down." Jess mumbled miserably.
"I don't care!" Alex retorted.
"I'll take her!" Maya shouted suddenly.
"Hon, we can't take care of this foal let alone pay for it!" Mrs. Townsend exclaimed
"I'll pay for it, with my savings." Maya responded pleadingly. She confident that she would win this 'battle'.
"I don't see us winning this hon." Mr. Townsend said to his wife. Mrs. Townsend sighed.
"Okay." She mumbled
"Yay a thank you thank you thank you!!!!!" Maya exclaimed.
She went over to it and whispered "you are a wonder, Wonder." And kissed its nuzzle.
