It is Saturday, a good holiday. Mai Ding is surfing the internet while waiting for meals. Since Yuan has been there, he is so boring. Sometimes he really misses the time that he is busy with something. People always spend much time on past time. After all, it is in vain.
Li Ming recommended a movie to Mai Ding, called Brokeback Mountain. Actually Mai Ding knows that it is a wonderful movie, but he hasn't watched it.
Today he has nothing to do, but An Ziyan is reading some profound books. So why not enjoy this movie? After having meals, he rents the movie, turns off the light, and watches it in his room.
Ennis and Jack meet each other in Wyoming, where they're hired to watching over a large herd of sheep on Brokeback Mountain. Alone in nature's grandness, they are drawn to each other almost without their knowing. They are going to have an innocent relationship.
Mai Ding is touched by this scene. He presses the pause button and vociferates: "An, come on!"
"For what?"
"Something important to say."
"Say it."
"Come to me."
Then An puts down his book and walks to the door of Mai's room. Mai makes An sit down and closes the door: "Let's us enjoy the movie. It is so amazing."
"Only for it?"An speaks in a coldly. He wants to stand up, but is pulled by Mai: "Let's watch it together. I am not putting on you."
"Why should I do that."
"Because you are my man." Mai Ding throws himself on An.
"Come on."
In the end, An Ziyan opts for a compromise. He sits down on the sofa with an unhappy face. It is so ridiculous to watch a movie in halfway. The movie is going on.
They had to say goodbye, because they finished work. Ennis hided himself in the alley when Jack went away by car. Mai Ding feels sad about it.
Ennis marries his sweetheart Alma, and Jack, moving to Texas, falls into a marriage with Lureen, a rodeo rider with a well-to-do father. They think that what happened on Brokeback Mountain is over, but it is not. They have stumbled into the great love of their lives, with all the problems and complications that implies for themselves. So they begin a sporadic and tormented affair in which the two meet once or twice a year for fishing trips on which no fish are caught. Jack urges that they forsake their marriages and set up a ranch together. But Ennis is immobilized by fear and shame. Until one day Jack was killed in an accident. His only wish is to spray his bone ashes on the Brokeback Mountain. Ennis found Jack's old shirt from Brokeback days.
The shirt seemed heavy until he saw there was another shirt inside it. It was his plaid shirt. The pair likes two skins, one inside the other, and two in one. What Ennis has now is only the memory of Brokeback Mountain and what he has on hand.
At last, Ennis's divorced. He hung up Jack's clothes in his closet neatly.
Mai Ding has been crying a lot. He cannot accept this ending. The reason why he is into fantastic movies is that they have happy endings. He looks so vulnerable that he will feel sorrowful when he watches tragedies. He cannot get out cleanly. The sorrow will accompany him.
He cannot figure out that why innocent love didn't have a happy ending.
An Ziyan feels unemotional about it during watching the movie. This is the second time that he sees Mai Ding cry: "Why are you crying?"
"You don't know anything. Why they moved apart in the beginning and why they kept the secret. Why Jack died, and why don't they treat their love serious. Why a good movie should be ended with a bad ending? They should not fall in love with each other if they were under much pressure."
Mai Ding says a lot excitedly.
"The movie should be like that, or no one will watch it."
"Are you a kind man?" He is sad for this movie, but An Ziyan doesn't think so.
"Well, stop crying. The movie is not a tragedy. In the end, Ennis protected this love. Although Jack died, he would not leave. Their love is kept."
Mai Ding cannot accept the fact: "They should be together."
"You were not the director." An turns on the light, goes back to dinning room, takes a book. Mai Ding follows him with swollen eyes: "Life holds many surprises. If I died one day, would you keep our love?"
"I would look for someone else."
"Up yours! I would have children with a woman."
The movie really impressed him. An Ziyan opens his book: "Yuan is suitable for you."
It is so monstrous. He cannot image that one day he would have a child with her.
Perhaps Mai Ding is deeply influenced by the pure love in the movie, so he makes a show of enthusiasm to An Ziyan in the evening. The room rings with a lazy song, a song from the movie, called King of Head. He is fond of this song very much and he thinks the piece of song makes him feel happy. Mai Ding turns around An Ziyan who is playing computer: "An Ziyan. I understand one thing. Each human being has to die, so I will use up your lifelong love."
An Ziyan is going to talk about this matter, but suddenly Mai Ding unzips his fly. An is pretty astonished by his action, because it is the first time for him to take the initiative. Then An Ziyan feels that this movie is excellent.
Mai Ding is unfamiliar with how to do that by himself, but he has learned a few skills from An Ziyan. An Ziyan always cheers him up by this way. He gently grips the tip and starts to swirl his tongue around it. When Mai Ding looks up at An Ziyan, An Ziyan smiles at him with a face of gentleness like before.
Mai Ding gradually has difficulties with holding the tip, because it becomes bigger than bigger. An Ziyan raises him up, takes off Mai Ding's pants, and makes him sit down on his legs. Now, they sit face to face with other. An Ziyan makes Mai Ding's legs apart, stimulates him with fingers. Mai Ding bites his lip, making enjoyable sounds constantly. But soon it is covered by the music. An Ziyan supports Mai Ding with one hand, and fondles him with the other hand on his erogenous zones.
"Hum..." Mai Ding gives a gasp of pleasure. He feels strangely exhilarated by An Ziyan. His face turns red with satisfaction. He cannot control himself any more: "Ah...An Ziyan...I want you now."
An Ziyan gently applies the KY on Mai, raises his hip. Mai sits down slowly, with murmuring. He steps on the chair, holds An's shoulders and shakes. He is unconscious, losing in the exciting passion.
An Ziyan puts one hand on Mai Ding's chin, pulls Mai Ding to him, kisses him. An Ziyan lays Mai Ding tenderly on the bed, because Mai Ding is so tired. He just wants to sleep after making love with An Ziyan. An Ziyan murmurs in his ear: "I won't leave you alone." Then he takes a shower.
