Lucy quickly walked in the ally way trying not to cause attention. Dartin wanted Fiore, but why her? The questions went further and further into the ally. It wasn't until footsteps were heard behind her that she stopped walking. Lucy turned around to reveal Dartin in a black cloak. She didn't get enough time before she went a incredible pain in her stomach. By instinct she touched it with her hand then looked closely at it. It was dark but you could see blood, Lucy had been stabbed. She fell to the ground in pain as blood spilled from her chest. Dartin snickered as Lucy looked up at him.

"Before I go, I'll take these."  Dartin bent down and grabbing Lucy's keys and putting them in his cloak. Lucy had tears in her eyes as she saw Dartin disappeared. She rested her head on the side of the building and closed her eyes in defeat.

Natsu... I'm sorry.....

Lucy woke up in a flash, almost like it was a dream.

When she sat up her hair was down, but her outfit was the same. Her keys were gone, she had no way to protect herself. Finally Lucy looked around to see herself on the outside of a forest. Not far off there was a city, it looked familiar. She stood up as the wind blew to the east. Lucy could smell the trees and feel the grass on her feet.

"Natsu?!" Lucy called out to find a answer. There was nothing, it was too quiet. She started walking towards the city. When Lucy got close enough she knew it was Crocus, where the grand magic games took place. Running as fast as she could now to see if they knew anything and if Natsu was there.

Lucy reached the place gates with determination. Nobody had noticed her, not even Natsu if he was there. The guards stood watch as Lucy walked up to them.

"Hello?" Lucy asked but the guard stood still. She waved her hand in front of him, but no response.

"Is this a dream?" Lucy asked her self, only one way to find out. She stood in front of the castle door determined. When the door opened Lucy was blinded by a light that was unnatural. She caught a glimpse of two figures.

"Lucy?!" Natsu exclaimed shaking her nervously. Lucy had snapped back to earth. She shook her head before the pain entered her body.

"She needs medical attention Natsu!" Happy exclaimed.

"Right, Lucy try to stay awake... You will be ok soon, I promise."

Better hurry... She won't last long.

Lucy's eyes shot open as getting into focus. It was the guilds ceiling. Her stomach felt stiff and tense. She remembered what happened last night.

Sitting up Lucy was embraced.

His pink hair fell over his face. "Thank god..." He whispered.

"Natsu?" Lucy's eyes widened.

He let go and met her gaze. "I promised you would be safe, wouldn't I?"

Lucy paused, did he run to the guild?

"Y-You ran all the way here?" Lucy asked putting her hand over her guild mark. Natsu nodded looking away. "T-Thank you..."

There was a sudden panic outside the room. Natsu and Lucy's blood went cold unknowing what was happening. He helped her out of bed and they raced for the door. When it opened there was Carla crying hysterically. Mira and happy we're trying to calm her down but it was going nowhere. Both mages raced for Carla with there hearts racing.

"Carla breath." Mira exclaimed taking the cat in her arms.

Natsu looked around getting the idea why she was crying. "Carla... Where's Wendy?"

"S-She was taken by some man! H-He was so strong and Wendy tried but she couldn't fight him!"

Lucy's blood went cold.
"Did he say anything?!" Lucy asked frantic.

Carla's voice was shaking. "Dartin."

Natsu looked at Lucy. There expressions were totally different. Natsu was angered well Lucy felt guilt. 

Lucy shook her head and ran out the guild doors. Natsu followed quickly as the guild members watched confused. He saw Lucy a few feet from the guild with her head in her hands.

"Lucy..." Natsu called to the crying girl. There was silence for ten seconds until Lucy turned around.

"This is all my fault! We have to go get her!" There was silence. "He wants me... Not Wendy."

"No. We will get her back and defeat him and you'll still be alive!" Natsu exclaimed walking over to Lucy. He took her shoulders. "I promise."

Lucy nodded and dried her tears. Ezra and Gray walked out of the building with smirks on there faces. "Let's go." Gray called without stopping. Ezra nodded and followed gray. Lucy didn't have her keys, just the diamond ones, but that was good because those keys could defeat Dartin. Natsu gave Lucy and small smile and started for the two.

Lucy smiled and followed her friends.

"U-Uh..." Wendy moaned feeling dizzy. She heard a small laugh. Her memory was foggy so she could only remember bits and pieces. A figure appeared in front of her.

"Hello Wendy." They smirked turning around. Wendy made out a man in a cloak.

"Who are y-"

"My name is Dartin, you don't know me, your friends do."

Wendy's blood went cold. Her hands and feet were chains. "What do you want with me?!" She whined trying to break free.

He laughed, "I want nothing of you. Lucy heartfilla is a different story."

Lucy?

Dartin pulled out Lucy's keys. Wendy's eyes went wide as she stared at the shimmering gold and silver. "To take over Fiore she needs to be dead, so I'm using you as bait. Knowing her she will sacrifice her life for you."

"Never..." Wendy snarled looking at her feet.

Dartin quickly turned around shooting a magic ball at Wendy. It hit her stomach making her scream in pain. "Oh Wendy, there is a huge line between Bravery and Stupidity."

With that note, Dartin left the room leaving Wendy to wonder.
