[7] Unspoken Warning

Lucys eyes opened wide sitting up quickly. She realized she was still in the magic tester with a pink haired Mage beside her. His expression showed anger and worry.

"Natsu!" Lucy exclaimed with relief.

"Lucy! Thank god." Natsu quickly got on his feet and helped Lucy up. "What happened?"

"I-I saw Wendy... She said I shouldn't come to get her." Lucy frowned.

"Why?" Natsu asked as him and Lucy started out the door.

"He wants me. Wendy is the bait." Lucy buried her hands in her head trying to hide from stress. Natsu gritted his teeth and clenched his fist.

"Well I won't let him touch you." Natsu replied takin a deep breath. Lucy stared at him for just a few seconds.

"You guys need to go, I'll be fine here." Lucy confessed hiding her feeling. Natsu nodded and pointed at Erza and Gray walking towards them.

"Erza can tell me where the inn is, get home safe." Lucy smiled and started for Erza leaving Natsu to ponder. Gray passed Lucy looking down at the Mage.

"What's wrong with her?" Gray asked staring at Natsu.

"She can't come." Natsu stated.

"What?"

"I'll tell you later."

Erza and Lucy hugged before they departed. Lucy took off in the opposite direction. The group seemed a little sad that Lucy couldn't come, but they had to focus. "I smell Wendy's scent, let's go." Natsu exclaimed walking in a different direction, Erza and Gray following.

Lucy walked with her head low, she felt worthless because of the lack of help. After all, Wendy was kidnapped because of her.

Well walking see wasn't paying attention and crashed into a person. Quickly she sensed a dark presence. Quickly Lucy looked up to reveal a boy. His hair was a midnight black with faint red eyes. His chiseled jaw outlined his cheek bones nicely. He reminded Lucy of someone.

"Sorry." He exclaimed looking into Lucy's eyes.

"No, I'm sorry for bumping into you." Lucy replied turning to leave.

She took to steps before he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the nearby ally.

"This way." Natsu sensed pointing through the trees of a forest. Gray was about to snap, Natsu would pull the beaches for himself to get through and then let go slapping gray in the face. Erza was in the back making a path with her sword.

"How close are we?" Erza asked looking up ahead.

"We're close, I think there in that mountain." Natsu pointed to the mountain far in front of them.

"I can see a entrance." Gray replied.

"Let's head there." Natsu exclaimed with the two agreeing.

When they reached the mountain entrance Natsu lead the way with a fireball in his hand. Erza had her sword drawn just incase.

"Someone!" Called out a voice.

"Wha?" Gray shrieked almost like Wendy. Natsu and Erza broke into laughter. Gray shoved his hand in his pockets and his put his head down embarrassed his team saw that.

"Ok." Erza giggled. "Let's go, that was probably Wendy."

They nodded heading deeper.
