TMNT: Are we more than "Just Friends"?

Chapter 8: Training

The three turtles were talking with their father in the kitchen. "Leonardo, if we are going to cure Donatello, we do need to train the girls, perhaps?" Said Splinter and Leo nodded in agreement. "I agree, Sensei.. They did lose their weapons when they went to the Philippines, do you still have them?" Asked Leo curiously.

Mikey and Raph were just listening, I mean trying to listen because they were eating pizza.

"I do still have them." Replied Splinter as he stood up. "Leonardo, come with me.." Commanded Splinter as Leo stood up and followed Splinter to the Dojo.

"These are their weapons." Said Splinter as he showed a shelf full of weapons. Splinter first grabbed the Katanas, which were smaller than Leo's. "These are Nicole's.. She was quite interested in it, because it helped her hit the opponent better." Said Splinter as he showed the Katanas to Leo.

Leo looked at it amazed.. He thought he was the only one good enough the use the Katanas. Splinter then placed the Katanas back, and grabbed the bow and arrow.

"These are Brenna's.. She would use her hands when she's really close to the opponent. So she used the bow, she wanted to improve her accuracy better in far distances." Said Splinter. Leo then looked at the bow, and stared at it. "If you're confused, Brenna is Rapha." Added Splinter as Leo already got it.

Splinter placed the Bow and Arrow back, and got a Morning Star, which was not to heavy, and was good enough to carry. "This is Olivia's weapon.. She wanted to prove that strong men can only use these, and it concludes on her training and using the weapon during battle." Said Splinter as he showed Leo the weapon.

Leo stared at it, Morning Stars were hard to carry, but this was a bit smaller, enough to carry for a girl. Splinter placed it back, and got two whips.

"These are Julie's.. She believes that attacking also needs to show that simple items can result to dangerous weapons, like a ribbon or any clothing." Spoke Splinter as Leo touched the whips.

Leo just could feel Julie in the two items.. He did miss Julie really much, and obviously he has a crush on her.

"Leonardo, I believe you need to sleep by now, as I will make you train tomorrow." Spoke Splinter as Leo nodded. "I must meditate.." Splinter said as he head back to his room, and Leo looked at the whips of Julie.

"Dang, I miss Julie."

~Next Morning

The three girls were with the three boys underground, specifically the sewers. Splinter has called them for training.

They were sitting next to each other, Brenna, Nicole, Olivia, Leo, Raph then Mikey.

"Brenna, stand." Splinter said as Brenna stood, nervous. She was confused on what was going on. Splinter then got a bow and arrow from the cabinet. Brenna then smiled in excitement.

"This is your official weapon, am I right? You claimed that you wanted to shoot villains from far distances, and be mysterious.. So I give this back to you." Said Splinter as he handed the bow to Brenna, and Brenba accepted it in excitement.  "Thanks, Sensei." Thanked Brenna and sat back down, hugging her bow.

"Nicole.." Spoke Splinter as he got two katana blades from the cabinet. "You said you wanted to attack your opponents with good and precise accuracy, and attack them with one swipe.. And here, I give this back." Spoke Splinter as he handed the Katanas into Nicole's hands.

"Thank you, Sensei." Thanked Nicole as she examined the weapon as she sat down.

"Olivia.." Started Splinter. "You wanted to prove that being a female will change someone's personalities. You have chosen this weapon to prove that girls can do more. You wanted to show that females can do it if they try, so I return to you your morning star." Said Splinter as he gave Olivia her morning star.

"And now, I shall pair all of you up."

Leonardo vs. Nicole

"I grant you good luck, Leonardo." Said Nicole as she gripped her Katanas, and was in a stride position. "You as well, Nicole." Replied Leo as he then rushed to hit her.

Nicole then blocked with her Katanas. "Even?" Asked Leo and smiled. "I don't think so." Replied Nicole as she pushed Leo back, and he almost fell.

Leo stood up, just to receive a kick on the plastron, making him fall.

"Hajime!"

Raph vs Brenna

"Sensei, am I seriously going to fight Raph?" Asked Brenna as Splinter glared at her. Brenna then felt a shiver up her spine.

Brenna sighs. She then grabbed her bow, with a blunt arrow, and shot it at Raph. "Oh no you didn't!" Raph said as he punched Brenna. "O-Oh Brenna.. I-I'm sorry.." Blush Raph as Brenna then stood up quickly and kicked his plastron.

Raph fell on his back. "Sorry I'm not sorry." Said Brenna.

"Hajime!"

Olivia vs. Mikey.

"Even though I lik- I mean, friends with you, I'm not going easy on you." Said Mikey as he was holding his nunchucks tight.

Mikey then started swinging at Olivia, but she kept blocking everything with her Morning Star. "Take this!" Olivia shouted as she swung the weapon at Mikey, pushing him back.

Mikey then kicked Olivia and pushed her down. "I'm sorry.. Olivia." Blushed Mikey, as he offered a hand to Olivia, as she smiled. "It's fine, no biggie."

"Hajime!"

Brenna vs Nicole vs Mikey

Mikey swung his nunchucks and hit Nicole, as she blocked using her Katanas. Behind Mikey Brenna shot an arrow which had produced smoke.

Mikey coughed as he turned around and kicked Brenna down. Mikey then turned back around to just experience a hit in the face by Nicole, bringing him down.

"Hajime! Nicole wins!" Announced Splinter as Raph offered a hand to Brenna. Brenna smiled as she accepted the offer.

"You did great." Said Raph as Brenna just laughed. "Be serious!"

"There's my Sweet Rapha."

Olivia then offered a hand to Mikey. Mikey then nervously smiled and accepted the offer. "Thanks." Said Mikey, nervously as he blushed and placed his hands behind his back.

"No problem, just for my Mikey-Boo."

Nicole and Leo looked at the others and sighed. They still didn't have the people that they like. "When will you ever come back?" The two whispered under their breath.
